I thought the scoreline flattered Saltzberg a bit. Lack of an actual frontman was so obvious and izzaguerre was doing my nut in throughout, things broke down when the ball came to him , bounced off him and went to the opposition.
They pumped us first 20 minutes - we got back into it and towards the end they barely entered our half - then we conceded on the break. ****e overall - it's safe to say we're not winning this competition.
I could have got a lot of additions to the gallery tonight....if only I could have my phone. Funny when the disallowed goal went in. The beel was off the scale with lots storming out
We are through and that's all that matters. I thought we deserved a draw at least but hey ho onwards and upwards, still in Europe after Xmas and Guidetti can play.
i missed the first half, a 4am alarm call was too much for this taig. second half i thought we played reasonably well without ever really worrying them. i think guidetti would have made a difference. the sportsound team gave them a slaughtering for the first half so I guess it was bad. ambrose and at fault seem to go hand in hand
