    Good news here.
Not sure how he would fit into the system though.
At best I can see him being deployed as a second striker behind either Cisse or Ayoze.

Siem de Jong is on the road to recovery at last after the Dutchman revealed he had taken part in his first outdoor training session for two months.

The Newcastle United vice-captain revealed the news on his twitter account when he said: “Finally my boots back on! First session outside.”

De Jong, 25, played only three times for the club before injuring his knee during training in September.

The £6million summer signing said in October that it would probably be next year before the Newcastle fans would see him in action.

And even if today’s session was a light one, it does appear that the playmaker is at least on course to hit that deadline.

Good back up for Sissoko and can play the lone front man role too.

I think if he is fit should give us an option to mix it up a bit going forward. Better teams will have us worked out if we keep are not able to provide something different to think about.

    Evening chaps.

You must be chuffed with your recent resurgence! You're welcome, for us starting you off ;)

Just a quick question... Doing my FPL team, I need a cheap 5th midfielder who will actually play every game... Could that be Sammy Ameobi?

Or, is he just in the team at the moment? Has he replaced Obertan? When is be due back?

    Thanks!

Sammy is getting a run at the moment mainly because of injuries to others.
Colback is cheap and more likely to start, although Sammy is more likely to score extra points IF he plays.
When he returns Aaron's might be a good cheap buy.
If you can stretch your budget to Sissoko then you have a guaranteed starter who also picks up goals/assists.
