It's either Partizan fans trying to balls the game up or it's some sort of stupid advertising thing. This is bollocks.
Theres not a lot that the stewards can do to stop it. As soon as they cluster in one place and turn their backs, if someone really wants to run on they can just do it from a different place. ITV now saying that someone appears to be co-ordinating it from the away end, or something like that. Apparently they're all wearing the same tops or something like that too.
Stupid twats running on the pitch. Didn't think we were that bad, to be honest, it's always a bit tougher when a team sits deep and narrow against you and you're not going to build up momentum if the play is being stopped every 10 minutes for an idiot running on the pitch.
It's definitely us Partizan fans. I doubt your supporters would be stupid enough to do it. Ours unfortunately are. Sorry about that, nothing will be done about it though.
Considering the banner in the away game they probably consider it some kind of getting one over us, sad really. That's assuming they're not a bunch of pissed up, nobhead Spurs fans.
Some form of protest most likely. It's hard to keep up. Most Ultras are drug pushing ****ers that fancy themselves some sort of neo-right wing crusaders. They're constantly battling with our board of directors (who to be fair are corrupt drug pushing ****ers). By doing **** like this they usually get financial fines for the club, adding to our debt. It's like a collective, if you're not going to support us, we'll bring the club down type thing. Our football is in shambles (cycles of debt + youth talents leeched out by western clubs for peanuts to finance the debt) and our FA is laughable, third only to FIFA and UEFA. I doubt they even know what they're trying to achieve other than some sort of bad-boy image and the above.
Well that half was just as bad as any of our recent matches. Slow and predictable in attack and as open as you like at the back. Also - why are we trying all these fancy tricks and backheels? We can barely string passes together - let's keep things simple instead! I think you could count the number of players who can play well in Pochettino's style, and like doing it at the same time, on one hand. If Poch is going to be our manager for the next few seasons then he needs to be backed - so we need to shift about 80% of this squad.
Sounds depressing. It's a shame that the organisations that you should be able to look to for help are as bad as the people that you need to be protected from.
It's a shame too - we've got one of the best academies in the world, top 3/5 in Europe, and if we got a serious owner/director we could start to finance our debt. Instead they suck money out of the club, sell off the youth to finance that, and pocket the transfer fee. If the country wasn't so far gone, we could (in tandem with Red Star) pull our football up, keep our talents, and do a lot more than 1 point in the Europa. Meanwhile the fans are incredible when they're behaved - and I've been to well-behaved games. They act like maniacs, but not in the pitch invasion, fighting in the stands way. We could definitely put on a spectacle - but we choose to self-destruct instead. We've sold: Jovetic, Ljajic, Mitrovic, Markovic, Tosic, Fejsa, Sulejmani, and more in the past 7-8 years. That attacking lineup would be a top force in Europe and yet we've been unable to hold on to any of them. This in turn pisses off the fans, who are of limited intelligence in the first place, and they do things like this. A shame. But it won't really change.
We'll have to, as there's nobody on the bench to add any width. I'd be tempted to shift Dembele out to the left and push Lamela up behind Soldado, but I'd be very worried about Paulinho and Stambouli as a midfield pairing.
Yeah, I remember the commentator saying something in the first game about you having the most productive academy apart from Ajax or something. I can completely understand your frustrations with being unable to hold onto your best players, as we've seen the same, but we haven't had the quality coming through from our youngsters. It looks like that's changing, but we won't be able to hold onto them either, I fear.
As I suspected, it was a ****ing advert. No idea who the company is, but they should get hammered for that. ****ers.
According to ITV it was a commercial operation re. the pitch invasions, although there also apparently may be some problems with a large amount of Albanian fans who have got tickets and may now clash at some point with the Serbians. PNP I'd replace Paulinho and Dembele with Eriksen and Kane and have a proper go.
That was absolutely diabolical by Naughton. Should hit it early, doesn't and then shanks it horribly. Awful.
Soldado just can't get it in the net, can he? No idea why Stambouli was there, but it's nice to be ahead.
