In my new Zen approach to maintaining perspective I haven't watched this, but let me guess:

    - takes a slurp of tea
    - looks fidgety and mumbles discussing QPR
    - Sandro a wonderful player
    - perks up and becomes more articulate when discussing other teams
    - Leicester are really, really good, Pearson doing a triffic job
    - no easy games but we are playing well
    - probably some random stuff about England or the Champions League games in there too.

    Points out of 10 please.

Not bad at all SB! Strangely there was nothing about England or the Champions League at all today, nor was the word "triffic" uttered once. Maybe someone's had a word with him??

You also forgot the regular thrilling update about Taarabt. "He's still not fit, he hasn't trained"

    I'll give you 7 and a half out of 10. <ok>

    Only marked you down cos you didn't mention;

-Pre-arranged sycophantic question to open from Wally. "Yes Wall...."
    -Pre-season we only 'ad 12, 15 plaayers.
-New plaayers that come (sic) in ain't been fit.
-"The two Chilean lads, whats their names, don't speak English so, its bin 'ard Wal, 'ard.
-"We'll 'ave a look at one or two of them this morning but they aint bin fit!
-"Dont know nufink about that, the Chairman and Phillip are looking after that"
-"Joey Barton? Good as gold, never give me a minutes problems, pwopper professional"
    - Slurp from wrong side of cup.

I sometimes think someone is operating him from below the bloody table.
    "Be lucky" :D

How could I miss the Adel question?!

To be fair to Redknapp, which Irarely am, he can only answer the questions he's asked (though it would be nice if he declined to do this occassionally). Its the journos who are predictable.

We had 25 cm of wet snow overnight and 50% of my community is without power, including my office, so an unexpected surprise holiday for me after a couple of hours of snow clearing. Fortunately I still have power at home so am watching today's Europa League matches (Everton & Spurs later).

Everton away to Wolfsburg are 1-0 up (20 mins to play) thanks to very strong play and a fine finish by Lukaku. Wolsburg have had 2 goals disallowed for offside. Kevin De Bruyne who I believe is on loan to Wolfsburg from Chelsea would have been a nice addition to our squad.

Back to Harry's press conference, when he goes on about all our unavailable unfit and injured players, can you imagine if we had the additional strain of all these Thurs night Europa League matches added to our schedule? Fulham seemed to cope quite well a few years back - hopefully at some point in our future we will also reach a level where we qualify for Europa League play.

De Bruyne was transferred to Wolfsburg for £18m (may have been 18m euros). They are a tidy team, good for Everton.

I don't think Redknapp will be our manager when we qualify for Europe. when it happens,if I'm still mobile enough, I'll be going to every away game.

From that interview mate, id say his time with us is over now.

HR was clearly not interested in talking about him and doesnt even know the last time he trained

    He is history !

Not until we stop paying him. Time to end this soap opera and get rid. Pay off his contract, we've thrown away cash on worse deals. On the pitch he is the type of player that makes me love football, but this is ridiculous. His presence in our squad is a distraction because, as you say, he ain't playing for us again, or if he does it will be in pointless sub cameos when the game is already lost (or, if I may be so bold, won).

Nobody - player, management, owners - comes out of this saga with any credit. He is a poorly advised idiot, Redknapp should never have got involved in a public spat with him and has failed to establish a proper relationship with him, Beard, Fernandes et al missed the chance to offload to Milan out of greed. All of it sadly typical of the way our club is run - on a wing and a prayer.

Sounds like an advert for Air Asia's new super-economy class.
