As i am rather bored at work, i thought i'd have a little look to see how many players MM has signed since taking over two years ago.

As a very good estimation, it seems as though Mick has signed no fewer than 35 players in just over 2 years with us (be it permanent, loans or on short term contracts)

    (L=Loan P=Permanent SC=Short term contract)
    Reece Brown (L)
    Chambers (P)
    Hewitt (P)
    Kisnorbo (L)
    Mings (P)
    Stearman (L)
    Wordsworth (P)
    McGoldrick (P)
    Aaron Maclean (L)
    Nouble (P)
    Tyrone Barnett (L)
    Gherken (P)
    Berra (P)
    Frazier Richardson (L)
    Veseli (P)
    Anderson (P)
    Doherty (P)
    Paul Green (L)
    Henshall (P)
    S Hunt (P)
    Skuse (P)
    Tabb (P)
    Williams (L)
    S Ebank-Blake (SC)
    A Lee (P)
    Parr (P)
    C Stewart (P)
    Baijner (P)
    Bru (P)
    Ambrose (SC)
    Collison (SC)
    Sammon (L)
    Bialkowski (P)
    St Ledger (SC)
    N Hunt (SC)

I don't really have much of a point to this, other than it's a lot higher than i thought. I'm sure there's one or two others that i've forgotten, and maybe one or two on the list that aren't MM signings.
One thing i will hand to MM, is out of all those players, we only paid a fee for 3 or 4 of those (Hewitt, Mings, Nouble)

Well 10k for thirty odd players that include the leagues top scorer, a ten million pound+ international striker and a highly rated multi million pound rated youngling.....terrific value and worthy of shouting about...:emoticon-0100-smile

Sorry to be a pedant. But we actually spent 100k on Wordsworth. There was also the 25k on Nouble and the 10k (reported?) for Doherty.

None of which at the club currently, but Mick has effectively spent around £150k over the past 2 years, which is still some achievement in itself!

Also, Hewitt was a PJ signing (for an undisclosed fee, it would be interesting to know the full details of that deal)
