This decision will probably mean Mike will sell Newcastle at the end of next season as long as Rangers look like getting into Europe.

The nightmare scenario would be Mike not being about to sell Newcastle for the price he wants. He could then just keep Newcastle ticking over with no extra investment and no prospect of European football as long as Rangers are doing well.

Assuming that there is any truth in the story. There is a noticeable absence of quotes from anybody saying anything.

If it is true, then MA's options would be to:

    a. Sell Rangers (very unlikely)
    b. Sell Newcastle; or
    c. Keep Newcastle - - is he bothered that we can never play in the Europa League ? Why would he be ?

If a relatively decent price were offered for us, he would probably take it to make his life easier. If selling meant taking a serious hit, though, I don't think he'd be terribly bothered to Carry On Midtable

Sounds like Mike has stumbled on (or should that be planned?) the dream scenario. We trundle along happily in mid table turning a profit and advertising his business, while Rangers take the brand global. The bloke is a genius in business terms. The problem for him is we have Rolando Aarons. He is so freaking good and quite obviously the next Ronaldo, that he will will single-handedly lead us into the CL. Mike will have to sell him at just the right time.

No quotes, no mention on any football site I can find - including sky sports who report anything with an even 1% chance of being true, and no taking into accout Ashley's lawyers.

I'm not reading anything into this one.

I am sure I am not the only one who has notice that Rolando is Ronaldo with the letters arranged in a new, and improved, way.

A leftie always looks more elegant. Rolando is so much cooler than Ronaldo. Kudos to his parents for spotting his massive potential at birth and naming him accordingly.
