Don't ask, his team is poor at the moment really struggling and the Cardiff team were very good. Problem we have is that his Academy is like a feeder to Swans, Newport and Cardiff which is great as it works and is the whole point, 6 of his team over the last 2 seasons are now with pro clubs 2 played against them last night and the striker who is now at Swansea is a name to look out for (Liam Edwards) he'll make the Swans first team imo which is a big statement but I'll stick with it. Man City wanted to sign him relocate his whole family to Manchester a year ago but he didn't want to go.
Migs - 4 (first goal was his fault, wasn't dominant and looked shaky throughout) Mankiller - 7 (played well and never really got trouble too much) Toure - 6 (didn't have his greatest game but kept us organised at the back) Skrtel - 3 (mis-kicks, rash challenges and poor decisions) Johnson - 4 (didn't do too much wrong IMO but nor did he do much right. Just a mweh really) Lucas - 7 (was a constant nuisance to Luds) Hendo - 6 (plenty of running and harassing, got forward too. We've missed his energy) Allen - 6 (kept the ball well but rarely tries a adventurous pass) Gerrard - 5 (preferred him in a AM role to the DM, didn't do much with the ball though. Whether this was due to a lack of runners or not I don't know) Sterling - 7 (played well but looks absolutely dead on his feet. Desperately needs a couple of weeks rest) Lambert - 8 (held the ball up well, got others involved in the game and got his goal. Harassed the opposition as much as his legs would allow throughout too)
Agree Migs looked shaky but harsh to blame him for the first goal.It wasn't the only time a ball jumped up off the turf at him. Goalmouths were shocking
Lambert was the only player worth more than a 6. Sterling looked busy and was a good outlet from some of the constant pressure, but he's really not on form still, had a chance to end them and make it 3-1, but fluffed it. A midfield 4 though of Allen, Lucas, Gerrard and Lucas is a thing of nightmares though - unable to defend and unable to really create
Ok for me: Mingolets - 0 F'n clown. flogged one, tried to flog a second, completely missed a cross and almost let in another! Manquillo- 6 was poor enough. average really Toure - 5 not great. few mistakes in there. Skrtel - 5 not great either. Johnson - 5 no energy. Lucas - 6 half decent. not great Hendo - 6 average. Allen - 6 poor enough. no crativity here. Gerrard - 1 absolutely dross. he cannot run and this side totally exposed how he can't get about. everytime he got it in an interesting position he could do nothing and couldn't even keep it. Sterling - 7 (I agree with gerrez. did ok, made a goal, look threatening. fails to see the proper was to flop about in europe, lots of silly fouls but our only decent player and needs a rest Lambert - 6 decent, work hard, got lucky. but never gave us an option. moreno as sub: 2... at fault for thier goal. wtf was he doing at near post!
It did jump up at him but he should be dealing with it somehow, not putting it on a plate for the striker. There was another one that skipped up too almost hitting him in the face but he still caught it. Whatever happens, he should be leaving a loose ball in the six yard box!
You'd hope! I meant Allen, but they are all interchangeable and as dull each other, no dynamism and no spark.
I only saw 3/4 of the game [missed the start of second half] - I'm loathe to give ratings to individuals but will go along with someone previous who said all 5's - except Mignolet 3, Lucas 7, Lambert 7, Hendo 7 - only three that played with any passion. I would have loved us to have had Lambert a few years ago, he's the type of player LFC used to be about.

Very generous to Toure. He was a mess. As much at fault for their first as mig in my opinion. Under no pressure he fell over n teed the ball up for the guy, then was beaten way too easily a few times after nearly scored an own goal and lost his man for the 2nd goal.
So from this thread as per the last game against Real Madrid Lucas should keep his place against Stoke. Lets see then.
Annoying thing is, Rodgers said how well Lucas played against Madrid etc so have to ask why the hell did you drop him for every game since then!
i think he wants rid of him personally, but needed his experience in the cl games, as we don't have a lot really.
After doing a good job twice and us shipping goals all over the place does it make sense to drop the DM? No it doesn't so lets see what he does, should be simple really.
