Phil Hughes has died from his injuries after being struck by a cricket ball in a domestic game in Australia. Terrible news. RIP.

It's difficult to comprehend that a young man should die in pursuit of reaching the pinnacle of his chosen sport. Massive news over here of course and i have paid my respects. have a friend who met him and Smith at the last Ashes series and said how much of a nice bloke he was May saying they should dedicate the next ashes series to his name. i knid of agree. 25 is to young for anyone to go. really really sad that his happened at a sporting event by a young man doing what he loved. RIP

RIP and condolences to all concerned. Very sad. Chatting to a physio who told me that this sort of injury has only happened about 100 times in all sporting history.
RIP fella no-one deserves to die in such a manner. Going to work and this happens feel for him and his loved ones. I also want to send out the same thoughts to the lad who bowled to him. He didn't go to work that day to harm but a freak accident and this happens.
