MITO is absolutely correct about ludogorets, they are really pants and for Rodgers and Henderson to say that they are a very good team and that it was a good performance with character is rubbish. We should be able to beat Basel at home. LFC are much bigger than them and if we can't beat them at home we don't deserve to go through.

Absolutely no faith in Rodgers now. We have Coutinho, Lallana, Markovic who can play in the position that Gerrard played last night. Rodgers is so desperate to play Gerrard. Rodgers kept Lambet and gerrard on for full 90 mins .. ridiculous. Not even going to go into the tactical implications of that decision because it just winds me up.
Rodgers will be lucky to make Christmas imo I don't see us really turning things around and feel that we'll go through a period of winning the odd game but also mixed with the odd draw and loss and will probably hold this league position. We then play the Mancs and there's only one way that's going at the moment and Rodgers will lose the fans completely at that point. Well he's a youngster and you could argue he was for the future. I would question why we spent £25m on Lallana who is supposed to be top class, ready made first team player.

I would say the reality is much worse. there are 9 league games coming or so... if we win 2 out of those we will do well. be ready. this is going only one way so there's no point anyone deluding themselves that tis turns round cos the best we can hope for is about 8th.
Gerrard simply had to come off on 60mins. it was so so plain to see that that side would have been killed by coutinhos fast breaks and tricky feet.... absolutely travesty that we ended up defending for a draw when we should haave won by 2/3 if we were any sort of side.
leverkusen obviously. Loook LFC have very very little chance of having a euro night at anfield. I cannot see anyone making it a special night cos there is zero belief in this muck. SO the crowd won't be that up for it after about 5 mins of the game... (i'm sure at the prematch it'll be decent) Basel will beat us at anfield and progress on the basis of all we've seen. So... LFc can get a couple nobodies but its more likely to be a real side. Bayern or some such so..... the important thing however is that for the good of the country and our own co-efficient we need to man up and take it and get the **** on with it. CIty need to get through. arsenal have done the needful and are ready to get whacked next round and cheslea might win the thing.... so the reality is england needs to retain its 4 places and italy are the ones coming to take it off us.
