Four broken toes over the years...two from walking into table/chair legs, one from walking into a rock, the last a re-break (stepped on it while walking down stairs) because one of my toes healed at an angle after the first break. All totally sober.

I agree...I am desperately sorry for Hughes and his family (though better this than the terrible situation of Schumacher and the other driver), but I also feel for the bowler. Cricketers bowl bouncers in every match...they are designed to intimidate, but he will carry this all his life. Dreadful tragedy.
And Muslims wonder why there is a general shift to more intolerance to Islam. Imagine the fuss they'd make if we removed Islamic symbols from our everyday life (not that I'm suggesting we do, but hey, I'm more tolerant).
