It's just a few bleak results, we weren't going to win every game this season. There's more than half of the season left. No panic necessary.
It's rather ironic that we've got threads like this, considering that while we had eleven men on the pitch on Sunday, it was our best performance of the season.
I dont think that's ironic at all. We played well for half a game - so what? We were lucky to not have 9 men left on the pitch. We've had the 2nd most sending offs in the division this season. That contributes to making us - in my eyes -one of the weakest teams in the division.
The point is that even when we played our best we still lost. We found a way to lose from a brilliant position and it's happened a few times this season now. Performances won't get us anywhere if we keep losing when we play well. That's what relegates teams. There's no terrible teams in the PL, but the ones who don't win enough will still go down. We'll have to start winning when we play well if we want to stay up.
Red Cards this season... Spurs 3 Palace 3 Swansea 3 Man United 3 Chelsea 2 City 2 West Ham 1 Newcastle 1 Man City 1 Villa 1 West Brom 1
Well I havent got a clue where they got there's from. Edit - wonder if it was this year actually rather than this season?
Think the MotD stat said we'd had 5 this season, second only to Spurs with 6. Edit: It seems we've had Chester against Stoke, Ramirez against Spurs and Sagbo against Lokeren.
The only way you can get us up to 5 red cards, is to count all the red cards we've had this year, three in the 2013-14 season and two in the 2014-15 season.
Oh, I thought you were disputing the Chester, Ramirez or Sagbo sending offs were this season Like I said, I thought the stat mightve been for the whole year.
No, I won't be happy to get zero points, you muppet. You asked who looks worse than us. Several teams have been suggested, but your poodling is unshakable.
But that's it, they named teams who have beaten us which doesn't make sense. How can people still say Burnley look worse than us? Because we've got fancier names on the team sheet? Boyd looks a better player than Ben Arfa if you ignore what you're told to think about them and i'd certainly rather have him in the team at present. And how is it 'poodling' when i don't care one jot if we're relegated? Im not panicking, I'm not fretting - i'm just saying what i see.
Norwich City beat us at their place last season and they were relegated so individual results may not mean too much over a season. We have 2 wins out of the 10 we need and 5 out of the 8 to 10 draws that would keep us up. We have to play the following teams from our mini-league at home; Burnley, West Brom, QPR, Leicester City, Sunderland and Aston Villa. We play Crystal Palace, West Brom, Leicester City and Sunderland away. Like last season we may get something against Swansea City and Stoke City at home are looking shaky. we may also get a win against a top team as we did against Liverpool. Our season will be decided by the results we get against teams in the bottom half of the table not the likes of Spurs, Manchester United or Everton. Points we get from them are cherries not the cake.
