Even though we are ahead im not overwhelmed with Confidence. Id like To see Moreno, Can and Couts come on and for us to let them come forward as they will have to. We will then have plenty of pace to counter **** them at the earliest opportunity.

No, that would put them through on away goal rules. They'd have 1 away goal to our 0 so would go through. Ideally, a draw or defeat is best (with us winning of course) but I hope by then we're doing a touch better and a win by 2 goal isn't that hard. Basel don't travel well... good in their own country, not so good away.
Agreed result is all that matters. I do think if we can go 25 mins without conceding we could get a couple more on the counter. A good result would do us wonders. A bad result doesnt bear thinking about

Don't concede for twenty-five minutes and Sterling's pace will become a great weapon. Luds will have to attack as a loss will pretty much put them out the CL. Maybe Borini will come on for Lambert then to add a bit more pace?

I'd rather see Gerrard there than anywhere else on the pitch but it is crazy that we've got someone like Coutinho sat on the bench whilst Stevie's playing in that role
