And how do you know I haven't seen any of the mentioned chances? Taken from Wikipedia - Rochdale 96 (34 ) Rotherham 96 (34 ) Reading 104 ( 39 ) Cardiff 10 ( 0 ) Wiki actually shows one goal, but I understand it was eventually changed to o.g. Since he has only made 10 appearances to date, perhaps it's a little early to write him off. Since he has no trouble scoring for teams beginning with the letter R,someone should point this out to Tan. Rardiff City, here we come.
Fair enough, although I think ALF is a far better player than any listed. To answer in the right spirit: Eddie J was quite simply appalling. Never forget him finally scoring, the ironic cheering... Then the own goal shortly afterwards.
Now you're starting to talk sense, I like the r idea. Cheaper than a new striker No ones writing him off. The thread is a 'have a bit of a laugh' thread really. We're all surprised by his lack of finishing. You'll see loads of us keep backing him in the prediction league which is as close as you'll get to proof we believe he will come good.
I usually do talk sense,it's just that few on this Forum are able to recognise it. So well done you. Le Fondre will surprise you all. He's a good player.
He has a proven scoring record though. We had this at Norwich with Holt in the 12/13 season.Didnt score many but we did ok.You are only 4 points off the play offs so maybe you are not playing to his strengths.
Like most strikers of his ilk, they like to receive balls on the deck through the middle and take on retreating defenders and an oncoming goalkeeper. The days of Kavanagh to Earnshaw or McPhail to Chopra. City are incapable of doing that with their midfield 2. City have the ideal player though to feed him. Daehli. He could sit in the hole and receive balls from midfield and play in Le Fondre or Jones (as he did at Fulham eg). But our dinosaur manager is so stuck with his rigid 4-4-2 that Le Fondre just will not get many chances. But when he did like at Millwall, and Blackpool he blew them badly. Had he buried those then perhaps we could excuse him but he just does not to me look like he could notch to justify his place. Last season I recall very few, one from Mutch to Campbell to score v Man U was one prime example.
First 2 lines spot on Nin. See my post yesterday (might have been the day before ). However, I'm sorry but Daehli is not the answer. Not strong or quick enough for this division. Yes, he got the assist at Fulham and hasn't had much of an opportunity to repeat that since but maybe Slade sees it the same way. Useful to bring off the bench when opponents are tiring but not to start in the hussle and bustle of this division.
that's news 2 me, i always find you talk s.h.it tbh anyway yes he seems a great player.......there`s nothing better than a non scoring forward hey.
"s.h.it",isn't that what you smoke on a daily basis? Perhaps Le Fondre is not scoring because of the "s.h.it" around him. There's a reason why his goals have dried up,and I'm sure the more sensible, informed fans', are aware of that.
that's more like it vetch.......im sure when the fans tell our manager he got it wrong for the one player, maybe then changes will be made 2 accommodate le fonz talking about smoking sh.i..t I call it medicating these days mind since ive given up the cigs
