I presume all you lads have givne up defending moyes and are now comparing van gaal to rodgers for some reason.

I'm glad you've seen the light on moyes at least... ginger golem tosser............. you lot were hilarious yesterday

BUT.... Van Gaal is one of the few old school top top managers left. like capeollo or anchelotti etc. he's a top top manager and has a good record.... which no doubt is why astro found it hilarious that he couldn't instantly fix utd like some manc were boasting in the summer.

However rodgers is just a david brent type as tobes said. i never defended the guy yesterday and won't today.......... but i will say that if you are stuck comparing van gaal to rodgers then van gaal must be doing some **** job <laugh>

you should have sacked him before chavs at anfield last year Neil ****ing Warnock would have won it for you with last years team from that position:biggrin:

    struggling with what?

one minute you want to compare brendan to moyes, the next its lvg.

apparently lvg doesn't matter if he is a success or failure at utd because of his past achievements, yet brendan will be judged on spending £100 mill, irrelevant lvg had £150 mill.

what do you think to that then? :emoticon-0172-mooni turd burglar!

Lol, you normally are well reasoned MITO but not this time. We'll just have to agree to disagree (on Moyes). Knowing the logic you are using MITO, i want no complaints going forward when Real/Barca/Chelsea/City/United spend another £200m per season in winning the league 'Fairly'

Anyway it's a good job you mancs and bitters have alerted us to Brendan's lack of trophies - there was us thinking we'd got a really successful, experienced manager <laugh>

not at all... this is merely a very funny thing where moyes is being made out to be a worldie when in fact every point made on him has been pointed out as flawed. I find it very very funny that the everton lot want to laud him when in fact for at least 5 years he actually held them back and had them donkeying it at felliani.

Martinez has turned everton into a proper unit so if he can make them actually beleive they could do something and stop thinking small... well they could compete this year for 4th.

Van gaal has turned felliani form the object of scorn by utd fans (boosing his every move) back into a DM again... and despite his awkwardness and efforts at giving pens away he's done quite well and help utd. Moyes had him on for utd donkey long balls at the guy... he turned utd into a laughing stock in 7 months

so I'll keep chuckling at the thought you lot want to big him up.

when have i complained about "Real/Barca/Chelsea/City/United" spending? I've actually got posting his troy saying how fortunatel LFC have been to have s much moeny to burn and waste and have even laughed off andy carroll as a joke that we could afford... after saying it rightly cost dalglish his job.

Same for Rodgers. balotelli, markovic and lallana in particularly will rightly cost rodgers his job.

    end of....

but the moyes stuff is very funny.

villa real... european greats.. .and lets not talk about dynamo bucharest... that was like a totally different comp <ok> That really made my day yesterday.

<ok>. I would beg to differ on Martinez so far. Sure he's made them an attractive playing outlet and he's doing well in Europe. I will hold judgement until he does it for a few seasons as far as i'm concerned he hasn't won anything yet and he didn't make top 4 (i will say though must be far better for the fans with his football and potential). He's definitely made the squad look better than Moyes who was very much first 11.

With respect to Moyes, i think me and you are barking up the wrong tree and your feud is with Tobes. I've already said he's a average to solid manager but never a world beater. Do you agree that so far in their respective careers, Moyes is >> or at most = Rodgers.

I'll bet you that while he is weaker at organizing the defense (moyes was highly inconsistent at this too) Martinez is not afraid to go try and win things so I think he'll maximize evertons potential.... that said if the big boys come knocking for a coleman etc they will sell.

    anyway..............

its not a feud its just for the fun of it.... tobes just won't admit my line about evertons cl success was irrefutable (villareal <laugh>)

Moye sis a nothing... ergo he can never be better than rodgers. Rodgers is just david brent as tobes would say <laugh> It's better to be david brent than be a golum whispering to yourself in a corner about needing more passes.... it'd be terribly annoying for us all if rodgers went and <whistle> got lucky in the league cup or something and blew this all up in yer faces.... you never know cheslea and southampton might implode in it and LF might get an easy ride... <laugh> Thats what it'll take...

    Then we're all in agreement.

My point was solely around what he achieved with his budget compared to what could have realsitically been expected given the budgets of those ahead of him and those around him in the league, and he consistently out performed his budget, it's a simple fact.

Whatever anyone thinks of his career in general, his style or his ginger top, his league placing / budget ratio was as good as it gets in the PL

Champioms of europe over ac Milan.

Like celtic beating barcelona to the title in 2011. Many consider that ac side one of the greatest ever in the early 90s as i understand. For ajax to beat them was truly something.

Has been hired by 3 of the 4 biggest clubs in football. must be something about him.

Also largely credited with barcelona and bayerns rise to dominance on all fronts.

Van gaal will go down as one of the greatest of all time. Todgers will be a forgotten memory in 12 months.
