But you must also remember the circumstances - LVG has pretty much taken over teams which were ready made at the time of his appointment.

The only team which he rebuild and achieved success were AZ.

 

His management career began as an assistant in 1986 - he had 5 years in the trade before the step up - Rodgers hasn't had 5 years yet ....

An assistant managers role isn't the start of HIS management career, as he wasn't steering the ship.

That's like saying Rodgers management career started in 2004 when he was picking up Mourinho's post it notes for his dossier
