Lallana and Lambert are very good players and know eachothers games...

Why they dont play in the side together is a loss to me. They have two players who could deliver 20 goals....yet the manager has no faith in their relationship from Southampton

He'll be judged that way for his time at United. Across his career he'll be judged on what he won (plenty). Rodgers has won **** all which is what makes his Yoda like ramblings so hilarious.

we have been asking the same questions <ok>

its nearly as odd as buying Carroll, and then downing to compliment him, but bringing Carroll on for him in games???????

if you look at another thread on this board, the truth is slowly coming out, IF you are amazing in training that's good enough!!!!!!!

why we keep seeing Johnson in the team wtf??? and gerrard should be playing a lot less than he ruddy is.

one is nearing retirement, the other has just started in management literally ffs.

so both managers will be judged on what they spent at the club? great glad we cleared that up eventually.

what the **** that has to do with his fecking previous honors, no idea, maybe if we got Ancelotti for example we could use that ****e excuse? no,thought not!!

That is then two managers who have players that compliment each others game but dont get to play together. however one managed to win some silverware.....the other, well he looks to have had his one season wonder.

You can see why people judge him as a failure?

If you want to make it as simple as comparing the two managers on what they've achieved based on expenditure at their current clubs then Rodgers comes out very, very badly. He's spunked 220million to take Liverpoil down a few places in 3 seasons. LVG has taken United up a few places in 12 games.

Obviously that's all based on your comparison criteria.

so you didn't have a ready made title wining squad and added £150 mill of talent to it then, and brendan lose his 2 key players from last season?

you had to wait weeks to come out with this bollocks of eventually going above us <laugh>

just hope your internet holds out for the rest of the season :bandit:

Not sure a team that finished 7th could be considered a ready made title winning squad.

Brenda sold Suarez and had the option to replace him. He chose to spunk the money on Balotelli, Lambert, Markofella, Lallana and the rest (actually quite depressing when you list them).

One injury. Sturridge. One. That's the sole basis of the argument against Rodgers being a total numpty this season. But the 40 injuries at United are no excuse.

they are not really key players though are they, your defence is a shambles fair enough, but that's not really an excuse is it, as we was ****e last season in defence, but made up for it other end, with what you have available to you up top, you should be a lot closer to chelsea than you are.

our defence is still a shambles but we have lost what made up for it last season, now we cant score in a fecking brothel, you lost no key players up top and even added world class players to it, yes we have brought ****e, but that will be judged at the end of the season not nov!.

hypothetically speaking, if we manage to finish above you, you still willing to give LVG more time,as pretty certain unless brendan gets European football of some kind he is off.

I'd argue that having roughly one or two recognised defenders available for each match (and at best one centre half who before the start of the season was considered a first team player) is pretty key.

You won't finish above us. Your defence is worse than our injury decimated defence which has largely been made up of youth team players and midfielders. And as you said, you can't score. Big problems.

United and Liverpool have injury problems....

Learn to deal with them, everton and their threadbare squad have managed so far and dont have the bugdet (wage or transfer) to compete with either side....

They've conceded some goals and are therefore automatically ****. The fact that in the past four games against Chelsea, City, Palace and Arsenal they conceded as many goals as Liverpool did against Palace is irrelevant. LVG's big mistake this summer was not spending big money on a quality centre half. Lovren was available.

Lovren played extremely well against United last season. That is what really convinced Rodgers he is quality. So it is bloody United's fault. <ok>

Do you want to compare Rodgers with the early LVG managerial years?

I doubt it, as LvG hasn't got anything akin to being dispatched by Reading on his CV

LVG didn't win anything for 8 years - so Rodgers has 4.5 years to go to catch him <laugh>
