"goalkeeping coach Martyn Margetson, 39, has tendered his resignation and is reportedly set to take a similar role with West Ham United". Good or bad? Did he jump or was he pushed?
Given our GK performances at corners I doubt he knew how to jump tbh Good luck to him at WHU Whats the Watford GK coach like?......(calm down Hornets, just a little Monday morning humour )
H! I think Watford's Goalkeeping Coach is in the frame. Also whispers of bringing George Wood home who's just been released by Swindon Town.
With all the Watford staff and players joining us, their fans might as well start supporting us. Full house every game!
Alec Chamberlain isn't a 'Malky Man', he's been at Watford longer than anyone can remember. Still, if you want to re-create the team that finished 14th last season, he would be another step along the path, so good luck!
Just saw on the BBC website the Malky is interested in Goodwillie from Dundee United. Puzzling, as what MM achieved with Watford was largely down to a fantastic team spirit and 'one club' mentality - unlikely to get that with head-the-balls like Goodwillie (and maybe Bellamy) - Goodwillie currently has a rape charge hanging over him.
...and so it begins again mate, you need to chill out and get over it. Worry about what your club AREN'T doing before concerning yourself with what our club IS doing
If this how fast they respond to old news about Goddwillie, no wonder they had no clue about Cowie. Do any Hornets actually know what goes on in the football world as it happens, or are they all weeks behind.
Cheers lads, not sure why an innocent observation has sparked such invective; someone on our board spotted that your GK coach had left so I popped in to give my halfpence worth. Thought you lot were pretty friendly at the CCS last season; oh well, guess Cardiff's keyboard warriors aren't so welcoming.
I'm going to nominate this as the worst attempt at a climbdown I have seen so far on NOt606. This kind of turn around may work on your board but it doesn't fool us, you tried to have a underhand go at us and it backfired, anyone who reads this will see that to be the case.
Nothing wrong at all with most of us Cardiff fans behind our keyboards pal - you need to chill a bit and read some of the **** written about this club on your board over the Malky/Cowie thing. For the most part, we get on well with fellow Championship posters on the forum - it's usually the "new money" brigade like QPR and the Jacks that have given it the big one recently. Sincere best of luck for the season to Watford - you along with Millwall and Norwich impressed me most at the CCS last season.
for f*cks sake i think you all need to move on and concern yourself with you're own clubs matter on this occasion mate. its getting a bit boring now having watford fans giving their opinions on everything to do with cardiff.
Not coming on here to have a go.... but our problem is we can't really 'move on' until we know what people we still have at the club. When another person leaves, it means another distraction in finding yet another replacement! That isn't a go at Cardiff, we just want the 'exodus' ended so we can get starting with our own preperations for the season! I hold no grudge to Cardiff, or their fans... Had a good chat with a few in the Walkabout after the match last season! We are obviously disappointed with Malky, and will get over that... but it seems like every couple of days it's something else and we just want it to stop! With regards to Chamberlain. Who knows if he will go! I think the opinion around the club is he hasn't brought on Loach (who apparently is another target) like we would have hoped. A very promising young English Keeper, a regular at U21 level and calle dup to the full squad a couple of times. He doesn't seem to have progressed from the previous season!
Forget about their goalkeeping coach, I'd rather have their goalkeeper. Any idea when his contract runs out...
The heartbreak of being a selling club. Not too long ago we were in the same boat, had to sell 33 million pounds worth of players under DJ, and he was only given 5 million to replace them. Times were tough for us then too, but we got over it, hopefully you guys can do the same soon.
If you want to pay 2-3 million for loach, I think about half of Watford will take turns giving him a piggyback ride to the city stadium. Opinion is DEFINITELY divided on loachy, but he does his best so I can't criticise him for that.
