As mentioned several times, that's absolute bollocks. The numbers are absolutely meaningless the way they're presented. They don't support the claim. It shows the don't understand decibels.
How's about giving us in the South Stand chance to join in the East Stand/ North Stand chant, we had ago on Sunday but got drowned out by the other two.
I keep hearing this moan from people behind me in the West stand. It's ****ing stupid I'm afraid. Your idea to improve the atmosphere is for the two noisy stands to stop singing for a bit to give the two quiet stands a chance? Let's not be a boring choreographed team. The North and East thing is something uniquely City and which started at away games years ago with left side/right side. If you start making it a pre-choreographed circular thing it just becomes lame. Let's not do that.
If it was a fact, I wouldn't be able to discredit it. The fact is, the numbers as they've put them, really are meaningless.
The difficulty is that we have trouble hearing the East Stand, never mind the South. I have no problem with trying to organise something between all the stands but it needs people to come together prior to the match to sort out how to do that. The East Stand is the acoustics (we can sometimes see them singing but don't hear a thing), is the South the same or the numbers?
In your 'enlightened' opinion. The fact stands that we were the loudest fans over the weekend, so the other 19 team's fans must have been pretty dire, according to you. Also, it isn't a fact that the numbers really are meaningless.
I'm with you on this one, there's lots of science in sound. So many variables in the art of measuring sound just makes those numbers worthless.
It's a lot more than an enlightened opinion. The facts as you state them are simply not supported by the numbers. They really are meaningless. Google can be your friend. As it is, you're simply showing your ignorance.
Thanks for the advice. https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=How+to+deal+with+arseholes+on+the+internet
Not sure about the acoustics in the South Stand and admittedly the numbers are low at the moment but given the opportunity we could get something going.
It just needs to be passionate, spontaneous and natural. If people are relying on others 'letting them' join in then they aren't doing it right.
Good, we just need to try and bring everything together. At least we've got people who do want to help improve the atmosphere. If talksport think we're loud now, wait until we get organised.
You just get the feeling fans in this country don't really feel comfortable singing throughout games. Don't think we'll ever get anywhere near the vocal backing teams elsewhere in Europe receive.
