I'd agree with this if Sandro had been the player he was at Spurs when he was playing regularly, but he hasn't really been all that imo. Having said that, I love his attitude and we will be in the **** if Henry or Barton get injured!
I don't see it as a blow for us as I haven't seen him play for us in a sustained manner yet ⦠Now we have Barton ⦠we are saved ⦠He will come in now and **** up the team as he doesn't allow Henry to mop up properly IMO ⦠in short he gets in the way⦠will try and ruin all our corners and be caught out of position every 5 minutes. I seriously hate the way this QPR team is going
You in France at the moment Paul or in London? I'd like you to be giving Barton some advice at corners this Saturday.
Back in London but off to Essex at the weekend so won't make the match. Hope to catch a game before Xmas with the lads Barton to be fair will try his hardest … I am too hard on him… and I like him as he laughed last time I told him to try and make the front stick
My work colleague who is a Tottenham supported said when we bought him that he was a good player but injured too much. Why didn't our club know that. We need to stop paying big money for players who can't play MOST GAMES.
Had high hopes of Sandro being the "rock" of our midfield and providing protection of our defence. Sadly though he has become the "crock" of our midfield with regular injuries. I hope that Barton & Henry strike up a great understanding and manage to keep Sandro out of the team even when he is fit. Knowing Harry's team choices he will drop Barton and bring back Sandro just because it's one of his chosen players.
I think we need to pray Henry stays fit now, I bet no-one would have believed that would be said on here before this season...
I was going going to say, other than the £10million we wasted on yet another 30 yr old crock who has appeared unfit & awkward at the best of times, but have we coughed up all the dough yet? If not, please no permanent transfer. Harry Redknapp has clinched a £10million reunion with Tottenham star Sandro on a transfer deadline day full of drama for Queens Park Rangers. The Hoops' swoop for the 25-year-old midfielder - first revealed by Mirror Sport last week - will be a season-long loan, with a view to a permanent transfer. Sandro, who had two years left on his contract at the White Hart Lane club, was brought to north London from Brazilian side Internacional by Redknapp in 2010 after rave reviews from his chief scout Ian Broomfield. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/qpr-clinch-sandro-transfer-tottenham-4148623 QPR midfielder Sandro sidelined until new year with knee injury QPR have confirmed midfielder Sandro will be out until at least the new year with a knee injury. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30193337 please log in to view this image http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/29024456
£10m spunked and another shed load on signing up another sick note in Ale Faurlin. It was fairly obvious at the time that the thinking behind these signings was flawed and now we're paying the price. All we can do is pray that another 3 or 4 of our Donkeys don't break down completely aswell or else we'll end up more resembling Steptoe's knackers yard as opposed to a football club.
Not entirely sure, but that Mirror piece indicates this, so we may still have a get out of jail card up our sleeve - I only hope so. "The Hoops' swoop for the 25-year-old midfielder - first revealed by Mirror Sport last week - will be a season-long loan, with a view to a permanent transfer."
On our own official website it says Sandro signed a 3 year deal, so its not a loan. I have seen both £6m and £10m quoted as the fee. f**ed over by Levy again.
Yes, it looks like we're for the next three years - but as Harry says, "he's a proper footballer". QPR have completed the signing of Tottenham midfielder Sandro for an undisclosed fee. The Brazil international has signed a three-year deal at Loftus Road after a fee was agreed with their fellow Premier League club earlier in the day. Sandro, 25, made 60 starts in his spell at White Hart Lane but had not been involved in any of their games so far this season with new boss Mauricio Pochettino preferring other options in the Tottenham midfield. Boss Harry Redknapp, who originally signed Sandro for Spurs, said: "Sandro's a proper footballer and a top class professional - he's an absolutely fantastic signing for us. I couldn't be more pleased. "He's been a massive target of mine all summer and I honestly didn't think we'd be able to pull it off - it's a real statement from the club, from the owners, to bring in a player of his undoubted ability. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...ews-qpr-sign-midfielder-sandro-from-tottenham
