What's the point of spending £60m on LBs when you're going to need to buy another in January?

Whats the point for spending 120m if you are only going to go down the table.

The fact that plenty of reds on here rate the lad highly is an embarrassment to the plastic who couldn't remember signing him mate. He's trying to dig himself out of his mistake, but is opening a chasm, as per.

Was Johnson playing RB when Flanno was fit. No. And so we circle all the way back around to the original point of the Flanno injury that Tobes was trying to ignore with his blatantly deluded claim that Liverpool have only had one injury this season.

Who are we to complain about multiple injuries in the same position when Liverpool have had such an injury ravaged start to the season?

Actually Glen Johnson played RB and Flanagan played LB when both were fit. Actually Glen Johnson played RB when he wasn't fit. He was playing through 'injury' last year.

So what you're saying is that if injury ravaged Flanagan had been fit you wouldn't be relying on a loan player who can't get into the team ahead of Glen Johnson and as a result you'd be much further up the table? All sounds very straightforward.

Yes he was, hence the reason Johnson played 29 league games last season as he played Flanagan at LB you clueless dolt. <laugh>

    You're embarrassing yourself yet again

I'm saying we've had more than one player injured. A self-evident truth.

He thinks all leftfooted players are fullbacks, if we re-signed Giggs till the end of the season Astro would swear he was a fullback <laugh>

He really is struggling. It's obvious that he has no understanding of the actual game but he's so devoted to his stats that you'd expect him to get things like number of appearances and transfers right.

So more than one injury across the course of a third of the season qualifies as "ravaged"? Spectacular.

He's buried himself here, it's been amusing to see him squirming on a hook. Even his own have abandoned him.

Yeah, people pointing out that sometimes Flanno played LB sometimes RB, i.e. he would get on the pitch no matter what other fullbacks were available somehow helps your point that his injury is irrelevant to our selection

    Explain that one again <doh>

Explain how you thought that he played RB when Johnson was fit again?
