We were without Barkley for the first 6 weeks of the season, lost Mirallas for the same period, have lost Stones and Alcaraz for 3 months, Barry for a month at least, Coleman's missed games as has Baines, Pienaar has barely featured and Kone is dead ffs.

That's a shocking list. Those in bold aren't first team players (some should, Rodgers doesn't agree though). Those in Italics are first team but are abysmal. better they be left out. The rest are arguably not first team, (Flanagan is solid, but if Johnson and Moreno are first team, where does that leave him?).

Really the only absentee is Sturridge.
