Take some valium FFS. We are nowhere near the weakest team. I will take this as more wum-ming from you mind. If it is all getting too much for you then go and watch the egg cashing in february.
Christ what a load of negative twats. Get a grip,we aren't halfway through the season yet. As already been said up until the sending off we where the better team on Sunday and the officials where the worst I have ever seen. The referee should not be allowed to take a Sunday League match let alone a PL match,
Well said. But the recent results have brought out the worst in the hissy fitters and wum-mers. The league table means nothing until after New Years Day. 20 matches in by then and a better reflection.
Whilst the OP does seem OTT. I'm with BCC on this. The signs really aren't good. Yes we've played very well at times and we've definitely got a good squad. But we've got an incredible knack of losing games this season even when we play well. That happens to teams our size at this level, but we had the opposite habit last season. We were tenacious and hung onto one goal leads whereas this year we seem to lose whatever we have going into the last half hour every week. There's always at least one team who look like they have a decent squad but somehow go down. Norwich last year had some great players for example. Everyone always says they'll be fine, like they are doing with us now but above all it's our ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory that's the sign of a relegation team. Oh and daft getting red cards without actually tackling anyone hard, that's another sign. The last time we went down we weren't appalling every week, but we lost a lot of games we should have won or drawn, the similarities are a bit concerning. If Bruce was sacked and Pulis came in we'd probably become one of those horrible sides that pick up points every week with 4% possession and we'd stay up, but I'd hate watching it and I'd hate to see Bruce become one of those figures in our history not remembered as well as they should be.
You mean the Spurs who scored more goals and took the 3 points? Im pretty sure that's what football is about... If that happened to us in 38 games it wouldnt be much good.
Putter's poodling is snowballing into a poodle pack isnt it. The first half was excellent, best we've played this season. Then we had a man sent off. Sure it's not going to be easy, its the Premier League FFS, but first sign of adversity and the pups are yipping. Give it a ****ing rest.
By that logic QPR, Burnley and Leicester are worse teams than us. What?!? Burnley beat us so must be better than us? Well replace them with Crystal Palace then.
It does matter how well you play when you are comparing the standard of teams, we are not comparing the amount of points teams have we are comparing the strength of each side which is directly related to how "well" each team play.
Yes, them. They were lucky bastards. You asked me who looks worse, and they looked like a ****ing Sunday league team till they had an extra man. Calamitous defence and **** all in the final third.
I like the championship...... We shouldn't go down with the squad we've got but it's happened to other teams "too good to go down"..... Things look bleak right now....but springtime is coming.....
