I realise you mean after '18' games, and that's true. I think the worrying thing is we gained more than twice as many points in the first nine than in the second nine. One win and seven points in nine games is relegation form.

I'm not saying we can't turn it around, but it's worrying nevertheless.

    ? I wasn't arguing with Gandy

Or are you confusing me with Guru for some unimaginable (and unspeakably offensive) reason? He's the one who trawled through posts the other day, I would definitely never bother.

So what team would everyone suggest for the Reading game?

My personal opinion would be this:

    Rudd
    Martin Turner Miquel Olsson
    Tettey O'Neil
    Redmond Howson Lafferty
    Hooper

I pretty much concur with that line up although, notwithstanding he had a poor game Saturday, I would still plump for Jerome up front with Hooper <ok>

Edit:- Not so sure about dropping Ruddy at this stage, Hmmmmm ??

I'd retain Ruddy and replace Lafferty with Jerome in that formation, but otherwise agree.

I think Ruddy might benefit from a game on the bench. I would put him back in after that, unless Rudd plays a blinder.

I put Lafferty in for his tenacity and work rate more than anything.

Ok, even for you you're now being a bit weird. Are you getting posters confused again?

I think we need to go back to a 4-2-3-1 formation that we were using earlier in the season before the slump. For some reason 4-4-2 hasn't worked so far, I think we need that extra man in midfield, and our wingers can really exploit most teams in this league. I would bring Murphy on at some point in the second half for Lafferty.

You should know Rob, this is typical JWM, when his mistake is pointed out, he claims victory! I don't think he even understands what he's done!
