I like a bit (a lot) of grit in the game, even a bit of temper, but I think we are becoming in danger of being undisciplined at critical times of the game. Ramirez was daft, but he has waited and I can understand him, but senior players really do need to get a bit of a grip. Robertson would have had a few words spoken in his eligible yesterday. We do seem to love adversity.
How do we get so many cards? We're actually a really soft team and those three players you mentioned are rarely seen flying into tackles.
Did you watch the game, PLT? We frustrated ourselves; we lacked discipline and then we lacked leadership. It's okay having talent on the pitch, but who is our leader?
Dunno how that relates to my post but I don't think we lack leadership. Dawson and Davies both lead by example, as did Jake yesterday. But back to the cards, you see some horrible challenges going in on MOTD which lead to red cards and it's often the same few players or teams who commit them. We've had 5 red cards apparently but what was the worst incident out of all of them? I can't even remember 2 of em. They all seem to have been marginal 'letter of the law' ones rather than clear reds for a bad tackle or denying goalscoring opportunities etc. Is it bad luck or what?
A classic sign of just making the stats up to back up what you're trying to say. You're now qualified to work for ITV
Huddlestone is always prone to fouling. He did this a lot when he was with Spurs. Livermore is a fiesty sod as well.
