    You talk some bollocks.

When your season is over in November and you have 6 months to play without pressure you can appear to be making progress, the same progress made during the same part of ever season for quite a few years...... come August all that 'progress' is gone.

I don't think Brendan has made much progression at all, i dont think they are any closer to finish top 4 than they were a year ago which must be their aim for the moment. As for a title challenge.............

Time to wheel out the old "Scouse boom-bust cycle" image? They seem to be following it very accurately.

In a way its good they are sticking with a ma who is arguably worse than the guy they sacked last season or the guy who was as good the season prior but its very inconsistent.

Rodgers will take them nowhere, hes all well and good as a short term option that allows them to play without much pressure. their expectations are much lower now so maybe a poor manager is what they need to keep their feet on the ground for a few years before they re hire Roy Evans or Kevin Keegan.

The irony is that Brenda at the start of the season appeared to most people to be the least vulnerable of all the managers in post. After all he did "manage" the club into a 2nd position, missing the title by a whisker (or just by a little slip). That is before people realised that last season had absolutely nothing to do with him and it was due to the Rat.

His performance this season is actually the worst I've seen in any premiership manager for a long time. Moyes got a lot of stick last season and he wasn't half as bad. And I am not wumming when I say Moyes would have done a 200% better job. (good job for us that he is no longer available).

We pointed this out last season that since he came to you, we were awesome... but since he got the sack we suddenly started losing <laugh>

How much can we pay to make you re-hire him <wah>
