If I were Mike I'd slap another £2m on his transfer fee.. which arsenal will baulk at...... then it will force Tiote to rop either his wages or transfer fee.
It's not on at all this IMHO.

Honestly I don't even rate him. Too many turns and fouls.

I'd be surprised if he ended up at Arsenal. Surely his passing game isn't good enough for Wenger?

Shouldn't be wearing another team's shirt though. Bit naughty that.

Might be an Arsenal fan. Certainly didn't stop him pinging one in from 25yards so no issue. As long as he is not smoking whatever old red eye is next to him!

He's a great defensive player, but he can't pass for ****. I really don't see him fitting in at Arsenal.

I know what you mean, but he might get away with it, with so many good players around him. He might do well at being their solid DM to add steel, while others get freedom to go forward.

I would certainly miss him. I know he can get himself into trouble with keep turning round in circles, giving dodgy back passes and the occasional red mist to get booked/sent off, but he is a rock and has sometimes saved our asses.

That said, if this pic is genuine, then it's very disappointing to see him in another team's shirt - whoever they are. Unprofessional.

Thing is though, Arsenal only play one DM, 2 attacking mids and 3 forwards. He wont have Anita next to him, he'll be right at the back in front of two slow CB's and relied upon for mainly holding and passing play, which he's average at.

He'd be much better playing in a side like Chelsea.

    Ssshhh! Don't encourage him!

Well, go on then. But I suggest Liverpool instead - because they'd pay us a fortune!

I don't agree he can't pass. When he is in form and keeps it simple he never gives it away. The problem is he has quite wild swings in form. Not a top 4 midfielder on consistency.

His taste in shirts could be better but the bracelet is even worse...

As for Tiote the footballer, he's been consistently inconsistent and injury prone for years. It's a shame as he could have been great if he could have maintained fitness and performance levels.

I think his simple passing is alright actually its just that he sometimes tries things beyond his ability and it rarely works. At a team like Arsenal I suspect the simple pass would be 'on' a lot more and he wouldn't need to try anything more than just breaking up play and laying it off to other players with a better passing range.

That said, he isn't going to Arsenal. They don't need him and they wont pay the fee we would demand.

Love the logic and double standards.

How many on this site have football shirts of teams other than the Toon. I have and I wear them.

For me, my "other" strips are all "foreign" teams strips but how many have other English teams strips?

None! The only footy tops I have are NUFC and England. <ok>

Am I pardoned from the 'double standards' label? ;)

Mind I'm down to my last 3 Toon tops, as I've simply refused to buy any with WONGA on.

When these start to wear out I'll have to go for more retro tops, certainly until WONGA are no longer involved and/or the fat man has gone.

    Cold War Is Over!!!

But British Intelligence's Champagne Is On Ice...

A night after the brutal but kinky murder of shamed British Intelligence traitor, Kim Philby (code-named: Obi Wan), the Cold War has come to an end. Unfortunately, the next edition of the Not606 Daily Soiled Rag, if there is to be one, shall be in Russian, as Secret Service forces have failed in their attempt to secure prized information from double agents such as Anthony Blunt (ACS) and Donald Maclean (Pulp), which ultimately lead to Russian scientists learning of a way to single handedly disable British weaponry and allow Soviet armies to sue for peace. The price will be heavy.

Though last night it was uncovered that Philby (Obi Wan) was taken down by an investigatory team comprised mostly of MI5 agents, and a five year old girl who out-karate-ed the old goat, it seems the re-death of Zombie GCB, an MI5 Officer back from the grave, sparked the chaotic scenes which lead to the Iron Fist's finest moment. A day after the rotten, bloated corpse of Philby was found by necrophiliac fishermen, being passed around a porpoise family and a pod of dolphins like a beach-ball sex-toy near Canary Wharf, GCB's once-undead, now definitely unequivocally dead remains were found with a shotgun wound to the head and several Americans displaying typical social dynamic angst and heart-ache (including one broody but mysterious handsome guy who's the leader, an old guy who everyone knows will die at some point, and a hot woman... Because... duhhhh) wooping around like they'd just saved a TV series from being cancelled, which apparently sealed the fate on documents containing especially important documentary information on Western Bloc weaponry falling into the hands of the Rocky IV enemies.

Philby, a leading figure in the capture of information, is rumoured to have been defeated by an old asthmatic with a pointy stick before being thrown into the deep to become the marine life's sexual chew toy. One thing that has been ascertained, however, is that a letter found in his home (amongst a weird collection of laser dildo's, long robes and the original designs for "Hello Kitty") states his obvious KGB connections, and indeed casts a very long shadow on the internal investigation to root out him and his fellow traitors:

"Lord Nelson, Lord Beaverbrook, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir Anthony Eden, Clement Attlee, Henry Cooper, James Bond, Johnny English, Less Hope Than Neville, Rolando, BTK, Tash, Tasty, Trev, GCB, BRS, mrtiote, MMS, DT, Indy, we have beaten them all, we have beaten them all. Maggie Thatcher – GCB - can you hear me? Your boys took a hell of a beating! Your boys took a hell of a beating!"
    Мы победили!
    Мы победили!
    Мы победили!

In other news, Oleg Lyalin (or David Moyes' wife, as David Moyes and his friends refer to her), a double-agent converted back to the KGB side recently, has also died. Everybody cares as he single handedly pulled more wool over the BI's eyes than then entire Southern Welsh Valley male voice choir pull over their fellow choristers at a 'Flossy and Hew' Man vs Sheep gang bang.

Well played everyone, thanks for making the game what it was

    Ahem, cough, cough,

You sure about what you're saying or is it just commie spin again....

    Comrade.

    Lest we forget.

That was all just JPF's propaganda campaign. Strange how he's gone into hiding since being 'outed' as a double agent! I'm innocent, you hear. Innocent.
