With the two chileans out yesterday we looked like a poorer team. Does that mean our squad isn't big enough? If Austin gets injured for example is it all over?

Strong bench yesterday. Would be the envy of many. Cover sparse in areas e.g. very reliant on Austin for goals. If he gets injured we are done for.

A strong bench is no use if those that play don't perform...

Also the manager needs to make changes at the appropriate time when required - we lacked width, which Traore, Isla, Phillips or Hoilett (on 82') could have provided.

    Queens Park Rangers
    01 Green
    15 Onuoha Booked
    22 Dunne Booked
    04 Caulker
    13 Yun Suk-young
    08 Barton
    30 Sandro (Kranjcar - 61' )
    20 Henry (Hoilett - 82' )
    10 Fer
    25 Zamora Booked
    09 Austin

    Substitutes
    03 Traore
    07 Phillips
    12 McCarthy
    14 Isla
    17 Mutch
    19 Kranjcar
    23 Hoilett

I can't believe that we lined up with 4 CM's and wide men on the bench.

What would make the Manager do that? Seems crazy.

In the post-match interview Harry said he couldn't see Newcastle scoring, trouble is they did and we had no response. We're shooting ourselves in the foot far too regularly...

In a nutshell that sums up Harry's approach to games, at least the away ones.

I couldn't see Newcastle scoring either but I was not surprised when they did. On the other hand I would have been shocked if we had scored. Apart from corners & free kicks, I believe that Fer, just the once, was our only player to set foot in their penalty area apart from our front two.

If the ball & players ain't in that area you won't win games.

We must provide cover for Charlie in the next transfer window for this very reason.

    Bring in Mr Defoe.
