We had twice the possession and did nada with it. Again, no real bite, or balls, going forward. Palace on the other were immediately able to bypass our midfield and threaten at the doorstep. Weak in both directions. You can't even say that we fell prey to great counterattacking, since we barely threatened in the last third. We were just caught in jelly limbo again. The defence is too happy to tiki taka. Midfield roles overlap too ineffectually. Attack is dross and screams for help from midfield and defence, yet both latter departments are too busy chasing their tails.
Nothing good I can say about that, yes great that Balotelli isn't playing but once again Lucas is on the bench and Can only comes on late in a game when we need physical players.

And to top that Skrtel and Lovren have to be the worst defensive partnership we've had probably ever. On the game itself, we sat back and slowed down after we scored our goal, that was with 89mins still left to play!! WTF, take advantage of the momentum and get a 2nd FFS. Allen and Lallana were our best players yet both were substituted, does that make sense to anyone? Gerrard offered nothing, absolutely nothing except to have a load of long range efforts that were all off target. Sterling is so far off form there something wrong there, can we just get the contract stuff sorted so he can just get on with playing. Johnson, well its all been said before and I think we're all tired of how **** he is. Last thing, How good was Bolasie. When a low or mid placed team plays their best match against you and lords it like a top side, you know the game is up. Last year, most of these teams look s**t against us and we scored at will. Ok. We wouldn't expect the same level of scoring but to be transformed from a top 2 side to a low ranked ( mid placed is being too generous) team is just plain incredible. To fall apart like this because Suarez left is just disgraceful The question is if we look worse than crystal palace then which team in the premiership are we better than ? Are we too good for relegation ? And that my friends is not a joke question.
