I like Irish whiskeys and bourbons. Tried Tullamore Dew for the first time a few weeks ago, that was nice for one towards the cheaper end. Woodford Reserve is good bourbon but can be v expensive depending where you shop.
I drink vodka more than bourbon I suppose. But too early for vodka, this is more a chilled out drink I think And in the pub watching the game I'll just have a couple of pints
I used to be a veggie many moons ago. Never liked the fake bacon though, used to like a lot of Linda McCartney stuff they do. I still do like it, but rarely eat it nowdays
There are different types of vegebacon, some are soya based and some mycoprotein. I keep away from most of the McCartney stuff, its poor quality and to fatty and salty.Much better stuff out there. Apart from occasional oily fish (mackerel, sardines etc.) I havn't eaten any meat for over 30 years
Do you not eat meat because you don't like eating animals or don't like the taste? No offence, but I don't get people that say they don't eat meat because don't think animals should be killed and treated like that but then say they eat fish
I used to be veggie from about 10 to 15/16 yrs old and it was a case of didnt like killing animals but as I got older I just realised that I like meat!
Long story really Bisc.,I stopped eating meat originally for ethical reasons, with health part of the thinking too. I was advised by a very good nutritionist about five years ago to eat oily fish sometimes because of some health issues (not connected to my diet)
Fair play, health is totally different issue in that case Heard they are producing GM crops with omega 3 acid's in them which are the good fatty acids in fish like mackerel. See how that develops in the future.
Omega 3 oils? I dont eat enough fish, not a massive fan. But the seeds in my smoothies make up for it and I have omega 3 oil capsule every couple of days or so as well Tuna is okay, I used to hate smoked salmon but its okay nowdays. It is sickly though. Dont liike mackerel or sardines but my daughter does!
Love fish. Love all seaford apart from oysters and lobster (man of cheap pleasures ) Smoked salmon is ok, but prefer the fresh stuff cooked in a foil with some lemons, beautiful.
Some of it. I like fish, rice and soy sauce but not o keen on ginger and some of the other bits they sometime put in there.
I merged it into the matchday thread, didn't think it needed a whole thread when same think is being discussed in the OMT. Would just be another place for wums to jump on board, easier to keep it all in one place
