Perfect doesnt mean pretty. This was a determined and gritty performance executed brilliantly. Van gaal knew exactly what arsene was going to do and set up for it.
With our injuries we were never outplaying you. So we had to soak up all the pressure and wait patiently for a break away.

It was a lucky result for you, not some master plan by lvg. It doesn't prove your team is awesome or really tactically astute. It means arsenals finishing was poor and you got lucky. Lol.
I'm not getting excited about the performance other than it was pleasing to see the team so committed to staying in the game when they were under the cosh and executing the game plan that the manager set out for them.

It wasn't executed brilliantly, you got torn apart, we opened you up over and over again and but for woeful finishing you would of been out of the game at half time. It was luck, not a master plan that gave you the win.

The game plan was to counter. Which we did many times.

You were worse against us this season than last. And in our defence we had the 19 year old chambers and skinny LB monreal at CB. We have a huge injury list too, it doesn't change that you were s**t yesterday.

I'm laughing at your bitterness. Wengerites (note Wengerites, not Arsenal fans) whine about defeats like no other group apart from the Dippers.
You didn't counter once in the first 37 minutes. That is almost half the entire game that you did literally nothing. That isn't good game plan. You failed to execute the game plan. We didn't give you any time or space to counter and closed your forward players very quickly. You got totally dealt with.
Then comes the lucky goal and it all turns around, we had to throw men forward and the space opened for you to play on the counter. At that point you were always going to get chances to put the game to bed.
Had any of our players not failed so ridiculously hard with there finishing you never would of been able to play on the counter.
It was luck, not a clever game LAN that gave you the win, just accept it lol

The plan was to concede the ball to arsenal and sit deep before hitting arsenal on the break. What part did we get wrong?
We had monreal the skinny LB playing at CB and a youth at RB. We were also wi out a number of injured players, debuchy, koscielny, Walcott, ozil, that's four guaranteed first 11 players, in amongst other injuries.

So what if it took 37 minutes? Counter attacks are not pre planned but take advantage of an opportunity. Arsenal battered us for twenty mins believing we were an easy win. Was always going to happen.
