    City loose

    Swindon win

Gotta say two losses after going unbeaten for over 20 games is concerning.

It has allowed the gap at the top be be closed to one point.

SC now needs to show his credentials as the Boro away game next Friday is huge loose it and we will come of the top with other teams circulating around us.

I would have been happy with 5 points.i thought we get 7 but we could end up with zero.

Get real here and consider we are still top of the division, and yes the 2 losses are a disappointment, but there's still along way to go. I must admit that I thought we should have had 4 points from these 2 games against our major opposition and my concern is that we must not fall off our perch so we have to come back in our next match and keep ourselves in the top two.

We all knew that at some point we could fall victim to disciplinary problems and injuries and the loss at Swindon when we were down to 10 men for nearly all of the match can't really be considered a failure in the pure sense of the term. Let's settle down and see how we do in our next fixture, and the truth is that it has to be considered as a must win if we are to keep the supporters in the right frame of mind. I somewhat expected this kind of downturn and felt it would be our last 2 games where we would slip but when you consider our league position compared to last season I'm sure most of us would prefer where we are now. Keep the faith guys because negativity filters back to the players and yes this is the new positive version of my persona so why don't you join me and keep the faith for all concerned because only when I am concerned will I revert back to the dark side.

We couldn't score in a brothel today, we dominated but couldn't get it on target. We should have scored at least 4 goals against an overachieving fouling and cheating side.

We are light up top and if Agard don't pop up with a goal he offers nothing and this I would say is a big part of our problem.........
He needs dropping and Jet and Kane should start next Friday...........

Bit of a blip, but to be expected at some point.
I'm sure SC will get the ship steady in record time, and we will go on to string another run together.

If we don't win one of our next 5 games we will have a reason to get nervous, but lets let SC do his job and get us back on track

Jet isn't good enough for a top of the table side. He might fit a 442 diamond midfield but then so would freeman a better player. Reid should be given a chance to shine against Peterborough and Telford.

I suppose scoring one more than your good selves today is cheating as well, it's about putting the ball in the net at the end of the day. Strange when we beat sides we get accused of cheating but it's never the best thing to post after a defeat.

Don't panic. We could have won quite easily today against a decent Preston side. The ball didn't run for us but we create chances. We've played worse this season and won. Still top of the league everyone

here here Loathsneyd, lets calm down and not over react, i always said that our biggest test would be when we lose and how we react. yes thats two in a row, but its against top 4 teams and at Swindle we had 10 men for 88 mins and today we lost our shooting boots, we havent played bad and got hammered have we?

There are just two points i'd like to point out, one being that Agard has lost his first touch completely at mo, and second Wilbs was winning most headers and fighting for everything up to last week, also his hold up play has vanished, which isnt allowing our midfield to get forward and create or have chances around the box, and when we lose the ball it is quickly moved back at us leaving the opponents with space between the midfield and our the back line, thus giving them always an out ball. I think should the front two pick up their game again, we will look better and more dangerous in attack........IMHO ;)

Probably piss most people off but Kilkenny for me was just what we needed, kept the ball ticking and hardly gave it away..

Unlike Pack and Williams who were on a mission to see who could give the ball away the most.

What is it with pack? one game he can play amazing and it seems when ever we NEED him he underperforms... I'd play Smith and Reid for P'boro.

Also its only 2 defeats. This was going to happen at some point in the season and it will happen again

I prefer to play below par and win than play well and dominate and lose ( cause that rings a bell ) and don't like that idea of that all over again.......

Must admit Pack didn't put in the sort of performance that was screaming out ' don't drop me please Boss when Wade is back'

I thought Pack was poor, particularly as this was his chance to put himself in the picture more- No co incidence that we have missed Elliott for 2 games (all bar a couple of minutes) and not only lost, but didn't score-

Yes, we dominated, but you would expect to at home. Preston closed out the game well and I thought that despite plenty of endeavour, we lacked and real creativity or inventiveness in the final 3rd, where it matters. There was a spell in the 2nd half when we had 5 corners in as many minutes the first 4 were so predictable, they were comfortably dealt with.

Wilbs and Agard were both guilty of missing great chances but that will happen. I don't really remember either keeper being seriously tested.

It happens so often, you see a team go on a long unbeaten run and when the defeat comes, another soon follows-I am sure we will get back to normal service very shortly

Man of the match for me- Ayling

It's not now that pack should be working hard and trying to impress for. It's next season, say we go up. Wade Elliotts going to be 37 and in a much harder league. He won't be playing half as much so we either need Pack to step up big time or Cotts is forced to let him go and replace him, he's out of contract in the summer so he needs to sort himself out!

Lot of coating off of Pack but City got bossed all over. Flint didn't win his battle. Joe Bryan disappeared. Agard lost his legs and on it goes. Off the pitch the support again was not all that.
