    Moses is a ****.

    Tomkins is a ****.

    Barkley's a ****.

Arsenal's defending is still hilarious from time to time.

I dunno why more isn't made of all this face-holding trying to get people sent off. They rarely even get a yellow card for it. It's worse than diving in my opinion. Embarrassing to watch as a football fan. Should be a straight red offence for bringing the game into disrepute.

Difficult to spot in a split second, but maybe some retrospective action would help

    Wilshere’s a prick.

Little man temperament à la Dennis Wise.

I don't think it is at all. Diving can sometimes be hard to spot, but refs spot it more often than not. But these players going down holding their face without actually being twatted is usually immediately obvious without needing a replay. On the rare occasions a punch is actually thrown it doesn't end with the recipient going down; he'll hit him back and a brall ensues.

You have seen Barkley's dive and Tomkins acting, right?

The thing I really didn't get about Barkley's was Nolan didn't even move a muscle. He was stood a good yard or two away from Barkley and didn't even put a foot in. How the hell did Clattenburg see a foul there? It's rare I have sympathy for Kevin Nolan but...

Yes, I did see the incidents. I agree they were poor. Poor from the players and poor from the ref. But unless some retrospective action can be taken when the ref's got some blatant cheating wrong then we're gonna continue to have these grievances

Currently if the ref's made a bad decision he just doesn't get a game next time, and the player has got away with it again.

The most shocking decision IMO tonight was the offside on Lukaku's goal. He's a good 2 or 3 yards off for God's sake.

Also, Man Utd's first goal shouldn't have stood, the dirty bastard Fellaini pushed Chambers into Szczesny, and ergo fouled him.

That rarely happens. Most of them get away with it.

Gibbs, not Chambers, wasn't it? Hence why he was on the ground to deflect the shot.

That was such a depressing MOTD - Wiltshire kicked things off by being a little ****, then Moses, Barkley and especially Tomkins killed off for good any hope I had that the game hadn't officially lost its soul, and to top it off that ridiculous show pony Savage was allowed to bray his ignorant verdicts, showing that he hasn't bothered to learn the laws of the game.

    All in all, ****ing infuriating.

to be fair other than the Barkley incident I thought Clattenberg did the best he possibly could.

    Nope.

Got pushed in the chest, immediately went down holding his face.

I see BFS moaned like a good 'un about the ref and the offside but failed to mention Tomkins and his disgraceful play acting.
