Onuouha's pass completion rate must have been absolute ZERO today. Totally useless.

The Internationals looked knackered and not really in it.
Not enough movement off the ball, into space nor forward.
What was the tactic??? Pass backwards????

    Embarrassing, really

Vargas should be fined a weeks wages for dereliction of duty.

What kind of a position does he think he's in that he can take time off like this with a crucial game on?

Apparently so. It was his wife giving birth though, not him.

A couple of years ago two or three Irish players pulled out of the international squad for the same reasons and Trappatoni didn't include them in the next squad. He said he couldn't understand it as where he came from "the women have babies, not the men". The liberal pinky press went to town on him but I think he was dead right. Its Vargas' job that provides his wife and kids with a comfortable life. He should realise how lucky he is to have such a profession.

Its a bit of a joke to be honest.

No job is more important than being there at the moment your child is born. I have no problem with Vargas not being a part of today.

We only needed to miss one of the Clileans.

The other not playing was the choice of HR.

There would be no goal posts to score a goal, they would have been uprooted and sold as scrap a long time ago...

He is allowed 2 weeks paternity leave, I hope the club don't forget they can claim 50 quid towards his second weeks paternity pay from the DSS. ****ing joke he should have been there 90 minutes really wouldn't have mattered baby would probably been asleep anyway.
