According to theposh.com we have received a bid for CMS but there are no further details yet.

    http://www.theposh.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10427~2369858,00.html

Who knows if this is just Barry messing about as usual or if something serious really has been put on the table?

Also in there you'll see that the following have been made available for transfer:

    Charlie Lee
    Exodus Geohagon
    Kelvin Langmead
    Scott Griffiths
    Dominic Green
    Arron Davies
    James Wesolowski
    Lee Frecklington
    Chris Whelpdale

What do people think? Is this a bit of a drastic cull? Personally I think Wesolowski is a good squad player and the right age to get better with us over the next seasons. Charlie is such a servant, will be sad to see him go

The others I'm not really bothered about!

Shame about Charlie Lee and Langmead who hasn't had much of a chance. I agree about Wesolowski as well who's done a good job and slots nicely into the midfield

Lee, Whelps and Wes would all be useful squad players in the Championship. I suspect that one or two may still be with us by the start of the season, or on loan to an League One club. I don't think we will miss the rest!

Is it still Norwich interested in CMS, or has someone else stepped in?

QPR, Everton, Wigan and Norwich are the clubs that have been linked with him so far.

Norwich fans are definitely still keen, but I don't think the club actually have the money we're looking for. I don't want to see CMS going to QPR!

I'm doubtful Norwich can afford both CMS and Steve Morison from Millwall. Looks like we are in good shape to get Morison.

Norwich have not been interested i CMS since last March, that is why we bought Vaughan and Morison.
I thick ''big mouth Barry'' has f..ked it up for CMS, now no one in the Premier League is intersted, despite what Fry says.
Of course we could afford him, we just don'r want him.He will end up in the Championship and will be gutted.
Never mind at least he can get away from the arsehole Fry:emoticon-0100-smile

Being a regular in the Championship instead of a bench warmer in the Prem is not gutting. It's smart. CMS is a Posh Legend and I wish him the best wherever he ends up.

Totally agree Mexican Canary. Fry is just a big mouthed twat who shouts his mouth of all the time, and most of what comes out of it is complete b.......s. All he is interested in is selling or buying players for the most money he can, why?, because he gets 3% of transfer fees, although most people think it is closer to 10%.

The bloke is an absolute parasite, he sold the ground to his friend Colin Hill for £1, he in turn sold it to the council for 8 million, and somewhere Fry would be involved in this deal.

There are numerous fans who stay away from the club because of Fry's involvement

Its time you and the anti Fry Brigade moved on. Why not pick up on some of the positives he has done for the club, instead of the tedious, repetitive tripe . Where would the club be now without D-Mac, and who bought him to the club?

keep up the fine work Bazza

Really????????????????????????/ CMS turned down Norwich, QPR, ignored Everton and Wolves.(he did not turn down City or QPR, our last bid was in March and QPR did'nt make one) Bids came in from West Ham and Leicester, did'nt happen?????????????????????????
Now CMS is making the big move to ............................Brighton??? WTF
Barry Fry is the biggest W..KER in the football league. Everything that comes out of his mouth is BULLshityou are obviously deluded if you think bullshit Barry is good for your club. He just makes your club an object of ridicule and scorn.
Sold your club to his mate for a quid, then took a share of the 8 million they got from the council, yep, he loves your club. Do you think the money from CMS will go back into the team? Lets wait and see, I think League 1beckons.

I can't believe CMS has left you for Brighton, does that suggest they have bigger ambition or just bigger wallets? Do you think you will be above or below ourselves and Brighton next year :)?

Fry didn't bring him to club. Darragh saw the documentary on SKY1 and contacted the club, Fry did not bring him to the club

Taking by the clubs own admission 3% of ANY transfer fee, is that a positive taking money directly from the club?
Selling the ground to Colin Hill for £1, who sold it to the council for 8 million, and which we now have to rent at 500.000k a year, is that a positive?
He is a rude and foul mouthed pig, even when females are present, witnessed by myself several times in the sponsors lounge, is that a positive?
I'm sure there is more that will come to me.
