Good ..after 5 mins of 10 men in the box hanging on grimly tactic...seems like we are starting to play football again

 

I am getting a bit smitten with Perez ..played really, really well

 

Wow I don't get it. I know we're playing well, I'm very happy with the performance of the players, but with the ball in their final third, we pass it all the way back to krul for a rushed clearance???

 

Lol 2013 Cisse is back.

 

4th in the league!

 

Deserved win, playing better and more fluid/flowing week on week currently ..best of the last 6 games for me, even though it looked like we would get nowt or concede a late jammy goal at 70 mins

 

Only we could be 4th in the league with a minus goal difference

 

Great win. They came to just make it difficult and did it well. This sort of win shows we are playing well as a team. Kepp going lads!

 

True! But I don't care. We've learned how to win scrappy games and that makes a big difference.

 

Keep marching on. No ****s given. So many injuries, had to make it scrappy. 4th place right now. What the hell?

 

Mackem in peace - he has to be the unluckiest footballer in the world! Feel sorry for the lad. Hope he's OK (Except against us as he always seems to score past us!)

Top 4 as well - do majority of you still want rid of Pardew?

 

When you look at the team we put out today, and then add in how demoralising it must have been to see Ryan Taylor go off injured, then that was arguably our best win of the season. It wasn't pretty, and was very disjointed at times, but we were still creating chances.

The defence performed a lot better than I expected. That Dummet/Willo partnership had me feeling nervous beforehand, especially with Haidara outside them. They defended well for the most part, though their distribution was awful. Janmaat didn't have a great day, but its encouraging that on a bad day he isn't ****e. How often have we had players who when they were bad were really bad?

Everyone is really playing for the team though, and nothing summed it up more than Cisse chasing that ball down right at the end to save a goal kick. Last year that was the sort of ball that would have seen his head drop and him give up.

Well played lads, and credit where credit is due, well played Pardew on getting a team together to play well enough to get us 4th, despite all of the injuries and setbacks.

Just got back from the game. We deserved at least one more goal, and Perez was magnificent today, he's so quick and skilful. Get in there

 

Sissoko is looking boss at the moment. This looks like the first time since we initially signed him that he actually looks more like he is enjoying it.

 

I still want him out but fair play for the last few games, I can't see Taylor's injury being nothing but serious it looked like he was in tears when he went off and he will have known straight away the serious nature as soon as it happened.
I hope he is okay as he has been through so much
