http://www.f1reader.com/news/hispania-racing-sold-22005 24 million euros does not seem like alot for an f1 team.
no its not a lot, but u have to think that hispania may have been losing money. if thats the case its not a surprise. maybe they'll get some new investment and manage to build a car that can get off the back of the grid...
.... Coat, fetch Hopefully the new HRT owner (if its true) will help to allow the team to run good drivers... ie none paying, along with a better car.
We could see Liuzzi being replaced very soon then. He's not a pay driver and the future of the team seems unstable at the moment. I hope they keep Liuzzi and use his experience and feedback to further improve the car, but sadly I don't see it happening. There are plenty of drivers with financial backing, and HRT might even be desperate enough to get Karthikeyan back.
Is the timing of Ricciardo's opportunity strange in relation to this or is it likely to have been one of Nomura's demands?
For starters Liuzzi getting ahead of the Virgins ocasionally is the only thing making them look repectable, so it would be a shame if he is sacked. Also does anyone know if there is any truth to the rumors that Liuzzi's Force india payoff is being sent to hispania.
Thees; eet a requires a strong Italian accent: For a Liuzzi - maybe we a see a no mora his paina and off course I already ava my coat…
Not Bad Cosi - you're getting the hang of this humour thing. Seems like I needn't bother trying anymore. ridere abbastanza bene che.
Hopefully they will call the team something other than 'HRT' soon then, the F1 team for ladies of a certain age as it stands!
Japanese ownership, so could we start to see more Japanese drivers coming into F1, in the same way mercedes, and mclaren have a single-nation look at the moment?
Im just going to say what everyone else is probably thinking or has thought.......Who the hell would buy that team ? I mean come on, they have it all to do !
