Fair enough pal. You know you'll be putting yourself through the grinder again if you get your hopes up. Expecting the same old same old this weekend. Can't bear to see it.
I'm not really getting my hopes up, but I've been a fan for more than 50 years, and I've seen a lot of good and bad times. I'll still get behind my team, no matter how frustrating it is- it's in my blood.
I know. It's not that I'm not behind them, more that I know what's coming, Rodgers won't change anything, the players will still look like strangers in the same team and I can do without 90 minutes of face palming and hair tearing so will possibly avoid it but at the same time be hoping for an improvement.
Lallana only starts when he shaves the beard. Has he shaven it?? Have a look at the training photos to find out.
I had high hopes for this season, but I've abandoned them now. I think I've reached a level of detachment, where I'll just sit back and see what happens. Having said that, I'll still be nervous as **** come kick off, and still full of expectation. Bet you will be too. F1 me arse, btw.
I think you'll find the believe part belong to the Facebook page linking to the article you poster, the one that you said you found on the Liverpool website. Although essentially from the same place, that would be two different sources would it not?
Hopefully Can, Coutinho and Borini all play. I think Henderso could do with some time on the bench. I think this will be a very difficult match and we just need to win, but I can't see us getting points against anyone at the moment.
Course we can, we were actually ok in our last 2 matches, just happened to be against 2 of the best teams around right now - we can get a result here
Henderson has been poor this season so far, get the feeling he's still blaming himself for getting sent off against Citeh and that losing the title was his fault (said it in an interview himself earlier this season). Needs to get over it fast, its past and there is a lot to be done this season. And it was BR's mistakes in being too attacking against the Chavs and in the last 10mins against Palace that cost us in the end.
We got slaughtered by Madrid in every aspect but the scoreline. The chavs were comfortable against us too, so I don't know where those ok performances were.
Bit harsh. First 20 minutes or so against Madrid and 1st half against Chelsea were both decent performances. Our midfield actually looked decent and we passed the ball quickly and kept hold of it.
Hopefully Can keeps his starting place then, as I think he makes a big difference. Our ultimate problem is not having any threat up top.
Direction of the relegation zone....worryingly! We must get 3 points from this. Rodger's position will be untenable if we lose.
If LFC cannot beat Palace, then which team will we beat (Sturridge or no Sturridge)? A must win match if ever there was one.
Balotelli's at ring side for the Bellew fight so I assume he's not even in your squad for tomorrow. Big Lambo it is then lads
