    Cheers Tramore.

A nice Chilean Merlot followed by several slurps of Drambuie!! (It's been the week from hell!!).

A white rioja which is far too good for the traditional Friday night pizza.

    Cheers lads.

One of the 132 bottles of Bordeaux we put into the boot of the car on the way back from France this summer.

On this ****e wintry and wet Irish night, it tastes just as good as it did on that warm and balmy southern French evening.

That's some going CORKeR, best we managed was 80 odd in the back of our old Laguna, mind there was a set of golf clubs in the back as well.....

Sitting here now with a half empty glass, time for a re-fill....bloody awful day here today in Tramore, hasn't stopped raining and now seas fog has rolled in...

De-boxed at the chateau, packed tightly head to toe in the big boot of the A6. Each layer sandwiched with beach towels.

The grandpere scratching his French head, saying "l'imbecele Irlandais" but was happy with the business.

    Sante Monsieur Tramore!

I'm sticking to the Boekenhoutskloof 'Chocolate Block' vintage 2011 tonight. It sounds a bit poncey but it's a great tasting modern classic that doesn't cost the earth.

Thought I would resurect this thread as it is the last Friday before Christmas.....

Mrs TR has just started on the first of the Baileys and Ice that will be consumed over the festive period and I am on a Hot Whiskey trying to still shake off the after effects of the bug I picked up when over at the Burnley game 2 weeks ago. The whiskey is interesting in that it is a Henry Downes No 9 and is blended here in Waterford, as we are continually told....shop local.....
