For me Brady & Robbo both deserve starts after their international roles the other day, I think Elmo at RB, but who will be left out in midfield or does he leave Hernandez on the bench? A lot depends on whether 4 or 5 at the back.
Spurs have been playing 4-2-3-1 for most of this season. That formation doesn't give them much width which means we could either exploit that space with 3-5-2 or even play a diamond 4-4-2 and not have to worry about Spurs attacking our flanks (last time we played the diamond formation was West Ham who caused us problems especially down our left). If we do go for the diamond we can play McGregor Elmo Dawson Chester Robbo Hudd Livermore Brady Diame Jelavic Hernandez
I know someone put up on here what the club can do with N5 but I can't find it, think it's always just for home fans ? Seems a shame they can't fill it with some bodies whether it be away fans ( with a bit of segregation ) or anyone else. I guess as it's on the telly maybe Spurs would struggle to fill it. Just had a look on the website, there's over 300 empty seats for Sunday there at the moment. It only seems to fill up for Cat C games, shame as surely one of the better places for atmosphere is the North Stand. And it will look crap on the telly. Really needs sorting out.
B*******. Should have put that in the Spurs Tickets thread. Anyway, the plan to have a lot of home fans all the way across to N5 needs tweaking. Coat.
This is going to be outside the ground on Sunday if you get peckish... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Im guessing you didnt watch the Ireland game because neither Meyler nor Quinn had a good game. Just because Ireland won doesnt mean they played well nor does it mean they played a real US team. 9 out the starting 11 had less than 5 caps. There were multiple people who played for the US who are not even professional players as they still play in college.
They were at Freedom Festival. Wasn't too bad. Good street food concept. They had a strawberry and rhubarb cider on tap from a brewery near Malton too, which was some of the best cider I've ever had.
No i did not but does that matter anyway ? We have many options for the midlfield thankfully. But just going back to Burnley, imo both Meyler and Quinn not to mention Rosie should have started. It was never going to be pretty and more of a battle. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Not on a sunday. Will never beat the Roast beef and yorkshire pudding dinner.
Was absolutely gutted yesterday, we were back on track and one bit of indiscipline cost us completely. Was nice to see Sagbo back and on the bench too, surely Bruce must know now that if Jelly isn't fit we need Sagbo in the team to keep the balance. Seen a few OTT kneejerk reactions about 'getting strikers in' and other crap but for me we would have won yesterday and its a shame one player has set us back
Not much about the match, we were 100% better than against Burnley, in fact we where the better team till the sending off. The officials where a total disgrace. Lino managed to see the incident with Ramirez but totally ignore Hudd been taken out with the elbow, dispite looking straight at it.
We were playing Spurs in one of the smallest stadiums in the league, anything less than a sell out is a disappointment.
Nearly 1400 down on last season. Although that was a Saturday 3pm kick off. Our attendances are poor for various reasons that have been discussed on here countless times. We have the fourth smallest ground in league yet we have third lowest attendance capacity ratios.
