Jagger was pretty racist the other day when he said that James brown was much more money driven than he was, just as Americans are relative to the British.

    Bloody americans

[insert a nasty nazi jew propaganda poster here]

No one's banned Ched Evans from playing for Sheffield United, though. Just as R Kelly is free to record and sell his output (the onus being on the radio stations choosing to play it and the public who choose to buy it), so Sheffield United can still employ Ched Evans if they want. It's just that they've been forced to bow to public pressure, and chosen to accept defeat on this one. You could probably find at least 160,000 people who boycott R Kelly too - it's just that they're not as organised, and are fighting to be heard against millions of people worldwide. Guess this one is easier to fight and make ourselves heard against.

Whether Jagger was right or wrong, Americans aren't a race. Their population is one of the most racially diverse in the world, even more than Britain's.

Nobody is talking about a conspiracy here. My best guess is that he is after free publicity and maybe an increase of supporters from 'conservative' Britain. Like i said his comments were outrageous enough to get people talking about it it without crossing some definitive line.

Look at Glenn Beck in the states who pulls similar stunts all the time without ever beyond the point of no return and who has managed to establish himself as one of the States most popular figures and has become extremely wealthy and reputed by spewing his particular brand of garbage.

Whelan didn't do this for publicity...hardly what you'd want associated with your club. My guess is that he likes Mackay and thinks he'd be a good manager for Wigan. He seems to believe erroneously that the matter was closed at the FA (perhaps Mackay told him this). He then defended his position and forgot to stop talking.

Killing someone is pre-meditated murder. Except when it's manslaughter, negligence, accidental, a crime of passion. The effect on the victim and their family is the same, but the intent and mental state of the perpetrator is of prime importance. Why the difference?

Hence why i said in the previous post that it was 'my best guess' as to his intention. My dad is similr to yours then in his views but i'm certain he wouldn't have accidentally slipped in a comment like that if he was being interviewed by a newspaper and already embroiled in a racial controversy.

    Agreed.

100,000 people who care about football or just want to see a person not be integrated back into society? I doubt, some people like to moan and sign petitions as they have nothing better to do. I have no problem with him playing football again, at least he will be paying taxes; taxes that paid for his time in prison. I'd rather he'd do that instead of going on job seekers allowance.

If you went to any university, it happens all the time. I had friends who got trashed, slept with a guy and felt horrible afterwards and regretful. I never thought it was rape back then, just one of those things. Evans cannot show any remorse as he is still trying to clear his name, being remorseful will plaster him as guilty and lose his opportunity at clearing his name.

On a serious note with that, I would like to think the black box marks people down for commercial liabilities such as availability and possible impact on commercial revenues as well as morale issues in the dressing room. I wonder how it would be received if it was discovered that African internationals were marked down because of AFCON.
