Been talking on the Spurs board about only seeing them play in their only match I have ever attended, which was in London against Arsenal in their "double" season in the early sixties. Missed the match above as I played in the final of the East Yorks Regiment army cadet cup for my unit based on Holderness road. Huge disappointment at missing the match was tempered by the fact that we won and I won the only trophy in my playing career spanning 3 countries and over 30 years!

AGAIN no ****er is going to rock up and pay 35 sheets for a ticket!!! Assad can brow beat us all he wants but the simple fact remains that his disgusting prices have rendered these games null and void as far as non pass holders are concerned.

We would be attracting 40k for these games if the silly old bastard got his head out his arse.

We have barely shifted a single ticket AGAIN. His pice rise is simply unforgiveable.

The longer he remains at the club the deeper the rot is going to set in.

Despite the (vastly overrated) signings the club is moving backwards.

    Yawn.

How many paid how much to go to Wembley twice at short notice?

Completely different scenario as you well know, an FA Cup Semi Final/Final are show piece occasions, memorable events that stay with you until the bitter end. These league games are simply 1 of 38 which are generally forgotten minutes after the final whistle.

35 is not value or money and the good people of Hull have rightly given it short shrift (again)

Who in their right mind is going to pay 35 quid to sit in a soulless bowl to watch a putrid game surrounded by OAPs middle aged women and thermos flaskers.

An opportunity of a lifetime to progress this club is going down the drain all because that specimen of an owner can't get his head out his arse.

we're hardly the most expensive in the league..

i remember in league one, man city had cheaper season passes while they were in the prem..

£35 in comparison to the pl is a decent price.. football should never be that much but, if we want a team to compete, we can't be ridiculously cheaper than other pl teams..

This one for me, allows us to change the shape throughout the game.

With the subs we could throw on we could change this around easy and everyone knows the formation we play.

Spurs not playing that great just lately, so would be the perfect time to take them on for me. I have no problems leaving Davies out, Chester plays well with both other centre halves so for me for his speed and reading of the game he has to play.

4411 and return to a more simple structure for me.

    McG
    Rosie Chester Dawson Brady
    Elmo Thudd Meyler Robertson
    Diame
    Jelavic

If you've got thousands of empty seats at a Premier League game in a 25,000 seater stadium, then you've got the pricing wrong, it's as simple as that really.

Match day revenue is now a tiny part of our income and filling the ground with home fans is far more important than screwing the away fans out of a few extra quid.

It is a sorry fact - but true.

The game is on Sky / BT Sport and a Sunday at 4pm might put some off as well as price. The £35 price tag for Burnley put me off going there. Well that and the fact they are our bogey team. If they can get away with £35 for Burnley vs Hull, then £35 maybe isnt too bad for Hull vs Spurs? Just a thought . . .

Andy Robertson is doing the press conference with Brucey today, that suggests to me that he's likely to start on Sunday.

It depends how you define 'getting away with it', you can charge those prices, some people will pay it and your match day revenue might even increase slightly. However you'll be left with thousands of empty seats and a poor atmosphere, which is detrimental to the team on the day and may put off future pay on the day customers.

Isn't anyone going to mention that Aluko scored for Nigeria a couple of days ago?

Worrying news from the BBC - Lawro has City down for a win! I like the reason for his guest (Citizen Kahn actor) also choosing City for a win though;-

"Adil's prediction: I think Hull will win and my reasoning for this is that Steve Bruce is such a nice guy, he helped my mum on a train to London a couple of weeks ago. She was in the same carriage and he asked if she was alright and if she needed anything as she was getting off the train. 2-0"

    Let's hope they're right!

It depends on your income and how you view value.
I've had one pay rise of 2% in the last 4 years
At the same time my pass went up by 40% the maths are pretty simple.
I'm not sure we'd fill it anyway if it was £20/25 a game which I think should be a maximum price

The fact that he's not yet back from South Africa, combined with the fact that he was crap at Burnley, will probably see him left out of the squad completely.

Forget Burnley ffs. Take it as a one off(as it was that bad) for now at least. With Spurs, Man Utd and then Everton as our next 3 games everyone should be busting a gut to impress.

I would go with the Arsenal starting team(if fit) but with Jelavic in for Ben Arfa.

With the likes of Meyler - Quinn and Brady in good form during the past week or so nobody(especially the midfield) can dare have a bad game anytime soon.

Last chance saloon is now open for some.

    100% correct John.

It will be Sagbo ahead of Aluko.

Back in the day Spurs had a team to watch. Now they have very little in terms of star attractions. Live TV will kill the floaters/plastics.

Steve Bruce needs to arrest Hull’s slide

Having had a fortnight to seethe over his side’s defeat at the hands of previously winless Burnley, Steve Bruce is believed to have lost patience with the players responsible for the club’s position just two points above the thick black line separating the lame and halt from the rest of the Premier League. Swingeing changes against Tottenham on Sunday are rumoured to be imminent, with Steve Harper, Paul McShane, Tom Huddlestone, Robbie Brady and Sone Aluko all reported to be facing a spell on the sidelines as Bruce attempts to turn things around at a club that spent heavily during the transfer window. Only time will tell whether Brady did enough during the international break to save his place in the side. The Irish midfielder showed a couple of touches of class after coming on during the Republic of Ireland’s dreadful performance against Scotland in the Euro qualifiers and stole the headlines with a sensational free-kick when Ireland beat the USA in a friendly on Tuesday night. Brady’s Roberto Carlos tribute set-piece was one of two goals the Dubliner scored from full-back in Martin O’Neill’s experimental side. Whether or not the frustrating Brady’s heroics will be enough to save his place in the Hull side remains to be seen. His impact in the Burnley game was negligible and the man who would replace him is Andy Robertson, the 20-year-old Glaswegian who returns to the KC Stadium having performed international heroics of his own.
