Hi guys, I know you must be getting annoyed with me constantly advertising my blog. But a lot of you on here articulate your points very well and I was wondering if any of you would like to become regular contributors for my blog? My blog at the moment is relatively small, but I have secured interviews with Matt Lawrence and Stefan Payne. I'm looking for Gillingham fans who can write well to regularly write posts and take part regularly once a week in a podcast via skype. Anyone interested please let me know asap. Thanks.

No I haven't mate, basically at the moment its just a football blog with some gillingham features, but once I find people who develop an interest in it, I will buy the domain name and make it strictly for Gillingham.

TheBatchinator, can I just say that whenever you've posted a link for your blog I've always found it a good read. Not annoyed 1 bit that that you keep plugging it. You must be proud of it and rightly so. All the best with it in the future. I also like the way it's set up. On my iPad it's like reading a book, nice touch.

Looks good at a glance to me.

I don't pretend to know much about creating blogs but if that is all your own work, why don't you create a thread on here, promoting it slightly better?

    i.e. something like...
Call it the title name of your blog
    Post the link
    With maybe your message underneath

I can then stick it to the top of the board.
This will give all Gills fans the chance to have a look in and give feedback.

If you decide to do that, I will look in again tomorrow, if I miss it tonight <ok>

Thanks much appreciated, I want it to become popular amongst Gills fans and would like a few to get involved in it and perhaps take an interest in being part of a podcast.

    No problem <ok>

You obviously want to get maximum coverage, so the older one's like me get a little lazy and can't be asked to look for stuff sometimes, so promote the link.

Also you tend to find, even if people haven't got time to read first time round, at least they can go back to it later if it's stuck on the top of the board, normally I measure when to take it down by the view increases and last comment time.

Generally speaking a sticky thread will get you five fold more views imo.

Thanks mate, I appreciate this a lot. Would becoming involved in the podcast be something that interests you? You seem quite knowledgeable with regard to the Gills and when I read your comments, you articulate your opinions well!

I'll leave that one to the younger members, plus if I get involved in any more stuff, I think the other half is not going to be to happy, let alone I need to check with the lads what a podcast is! <laugh><laugh><laugh>

brb - how easy is to write for the BMH? I've always wanted to do so, did some work on the Gills365 site not too long ago and itching to get back into it.

    TTSN - I don't know mate but I know a man who might! <laugh>

hotsm - used to write for BMH and post it on BBC606, I did invite him over but haven't seen him as of yet.

I'll will go and try and find his column to see if there is a contact...

Right here we go, this is the stuff he used to post on BBC606:

This is where Tom Clee wrote for BMH:

He used to post his address on BBC606 but you know what the mods were like!
So hopefully you might be able to find a link somewhere in there?

Some of the posters on here used to know him, so maybe someone looking in can help out <ok>
