    The best performance of the season, for me, was away to City. Ryan Taylor coming back and leading the team in such a manner was simply awesome. My favourite player at the moment, I pray he plays in the derby.

    Dummett has looked good but I'd be worried about him without an experienced head next to him.

    I just miss Shola!!!! <wah>





    Anyway, back on track. Lots of positives given the realistic level of our squad:
    - Janmaat has proved a fantastic buy and a more than worthy replacement for Debuchy (a sale I was very worried about)
    - Colback has been surprisingly solid, given all the slating from them down the road
    - Perez has been a very pleasant surprise (had assumed he was another cheap dud)
    - Obertan & even Sammy have certainly stepped up - but i'm still not convinced about either
    - Sissoko can be an absolute beast, but we need him to be consistent
    - Aarons has been a revelation - very exciting to watch
    - Dummett has stepped up and found form - a big improvement already
    - Raylor back and showing some class after so long out is an inspiration to many - makes a big difference to the squad
    - Jonas has always had a character I really like and I hope he gets to wear the strip at SJP again - even if just for old time's sake
    - Tiote is a rock - but we need him fit



    BUT... favourite player?



    Well, it just has to be...
