    No it's not. Certain types can be of course, but if I retaliate by telling you you're a numpty, is that violent conduct?

    Your assumption is just like all the other incorrect ones in football today, such as believing a penalty should be given whenever there is any slight contact, and that non-deliberate handball is an offence.

    No I agree with you but its obvious that the ref thinks Wade done more than calling him a numpty :)

    Exactly, so it's not the 'retaliation' that caused the red card then. It's the actions of Wade; did they constitute violent conduct? Of course they didn't imo.

    Where have you seen it? I keep saying 'if he has done anything' because the only place I have seen it is on SKY and they pan away at the crucial time so you cant see what Wade does so they are not conclusive and we dont have any chance of winning the appeal if these pictures are all they are going on.
