That's been very polite Ron 'tenderley ridden'! Jockey didn't even try would have been another way of saying it. Looked to be cruising coming round last bend thought it was gonna piss it up inside but jockey gave no effort.
Tsk tsk Ron. What are you alluding to. Ran up the arse of the Hamdan horse or would have been a lot closer. Encouraging start.
One of the last off the bridle and only pushed out hands and heels, looked to have some promise. One more maiden run and then get him in a handicap so we can have a good punt
The first time I saw Squire's run, I was a bit disappointed. But the more I look at it, the more I think he might just get away with a race. Sure he lost some ground when he ran into the rear end of Ghany who was checked in running, but he didn't lift all that much down the running. Even if softly ridden, he didn't really come on. What I did like though, was his last half furlong. He hinted that he was beginning to warm to it in the last few strides. I think with a genuine pace up front, over a mile and a half, against a small field of not so hot types, he might just crack it. I think the owners have every right to feel hopeful.
Spit it out man.... just say "Its typical of his owners, you would trust Nicky the Needle more than that lot"
Very patient and intelligent ride by young Daragh Bourke in the last at Hexham, maybe won by just a bit too much for trainer's liking, but the 6/1 will pay a few bills for this small stable, I'm sure.
nice winner swanny whilst at Lingfield today I heard a very confident word for MASTERPAVER in the 2 miler at Kempton tonight
Has everyone seen the offer PP have on re: ante post bet at Cheltenham? The deal is if you bet £20 Ante Post on any horse at Cheltenham you get a free £5 bet everytime it wins before the festival
Cheers Stick! Looked at Masterpaver and, although none too keen on re-appearances after only a 4-day break, will probably have a little interest. That last run at Lingfield was over too short a distance, I guess. Thanks for heads-up!
Do you mean in general or just with the offer? I've not looked at it properly just received an e-mail about it
