I reckon it's food based. Top to bottom (again) Hula hoops, Gobstoppers, Tunnock's caramel wafers, Broccoli (yuk) Blue raspberry bootlaces and, last but not least, Bakewell tart. A balanced diet, I'm sure you'll agree.

Likewise fella! I didn't have a clue about our crest's history, or Southampton's TBH, before today, so we all live and learn. I reckon a good thread, would be to choose what crests we all think are the best and worst (bar Pompey and Saints for obvious reasons) and give funny comments as to why. What do you think?
I think it would be a good idea. A suggestion for the worst is quite possibly the Roma one. It looks like two boys sucking on a cow's teat, I don't know if that's what it is supposed to be though!
Oh that's a wolf. Romulous and Remus I think their names were, the mythical founders of the Roman empire. It's a bit like an Italian version of the Jungle book that story. No chimps though.
