Well to be fair I'm with TWF on this one. Out of season he can do what he likes with the money he earned. It was his behaviour during the season that made him an odious twat.

I'm not defending his lifestyle as I don't believe anyone needs to. He was paid a daft salary by us, but that was the responsibility of the club. He got injured and the lunatics on here and elsewhere decided it was all his fault - frankly it was pathetic. We knew what he was when we signed him and, even more to the point, so did Ipswich. It really does make me laugh when I read all of the Bullard venom for being a waster, yet I can look back on endless threads and posts on here berating anyone who criticised Paul Gasgoine. Social media emphasises everything, sometimes unfairly, sometimes not; the likes of Robson, Reid and co., the old drinking crew, not to mention many more, would be very glad to have avoided it.
