mmm, time for a bit of balance me thinks. I think we would all agree that Malky MacKay achieved a lot in the last 3 years, from being assistant to AB and BR to leading Watford through a potentially tricky period with a "plucky attitude".
Without a doubt Watford FC are now worse off in July 2011 than we have been for quite a while. When I look back at the last few years, Sean Dyche is our 4th rookie manager on the spin and I wonder if he has sufficient resources to help him prosper.
All Watford fans knew this summer was going to be a period of "asset sales", its just that IMHO Watford has sold just about all of the real assets that we had, all in one go, all in a bit of a hurry. And we are left wondering what there is to cling onto and to build from.
I expect Malky MacKay to be a success at Cardiff, and I wont mention his name any more from here. So to the Cardiff supporters who doubted our old manager, well let me tell you, you now have the crux of last year's coaching setup. I have no doubt you will soon form your own opinions.
Its just that we'd rather you didn't come on here and take the mickey. Thank you.
Elixir how is our situation that much worse than when Rodgers left?
I was a lot more worried then than I am now.
But I still think this season could be very entertaining and I'm really looking forward to it. An unknown owner, the best chairman in the league, an enthusiastic untried manager, and a three legged stadium. How could I not be excited (note excited not optimistic of premiership football)
