I was so happy when they came up, it's only 45mins down the road from me and it was pencilled in as one of my definite games this season. It's bloody sold out! Damn our magnificent away support! Had my st mate on it but she didn't have enough points. Hate to beg but if anyone sees or hears of a spare, please let me know. Managed a Burnley ticket on Twitter so heading there first!
I'm in the same boat, with it being 45 minutes up the road for me. I normally manage reasonably well to get tickets for the games around here, but this season is being a bit pants so far as I've only managed to see the cup game against Birmingham. I was looking forward to Leicester. I'll be away for the Villa game, so I'll probably not get to a game now until Stoke in April. Bollocks bollocks bollocks. I don't see why season card holders get preference for away tickets. They get to see the home games, so the greedy buggers should leave the away tickets for those of us that don't live in the area anymore.
Sorry its not alot of use now but if there are away days you want tickets for, if you make it known in advance there are folk, including myself who will apply for you using our season cards
I'm sure there's a Rangers fan going about with a very similar username to you mara. ha ha! Good luck on getting a ticket mate.
Sit with the home fans? It wont quite be the same but it will be cheaper (I would imagine) and you'll be able to get tickets. Back in around 2002 I went to see Newcastle play Leicester (as I went to Uni there) and it was 0-0 with no shots on target. Worst game I ever saw in my life. That was at Filbert Street and I paid £25ish quid to sit in the shed where I couldn't see anything whereas I could have got a Leicester ticket for a tenner (offer for students they did). I've seen a few away games at the home end but I'm pretty good at holding in cheers if required - much harder is when the opposition score, its bloody obvious when you're the only one not cheering.
Got the chance of a u22 ticket. I'm 35. What's the chances of getting away with it? Go in at about ten to 3 when it's manic and blend in with the crowd?! My Burnley ticket was u22 and I got collared. Had to plead ignorance and they eventually let me off, though one steward was up for sending me packing
You could contact Leicester and ask if you can take it into the ticket office pre game and upgrade it to an adult?
either that and try and say ****, my son has got my ticket and gone in with his mates and then pay the difference if you have to
Hands in pockets with a poor posture looking like they've never eaten a meal in their lives? Aye, those are the ones. How do their trousers stay up? Going to get myself some Beats for Christmas.
