Just thought it was a waste of cash going out and getting smashed, so cut that out first. Then over half a year I drank less and less, until I was use to not having any alcohol every week or even a month. I drank last xmas but to me that feels different then any other time of year. This year I have had about 5 ciders? If that.

That's easier said than done. Besides, everything is a motivator of sorts.

Excellent. Well thought out. You've done that at... what 22-23 years of age..?

I just binge drink. I'll have a few pints if I go to the pub with mates. But I don't tend to drink other then to get smashed on nights out. It's not healthy and it's seriously expensive, especially as when I'm out I get a bit frivolous with the bank card! I'm basically living my Uni years post-Uni since I didn't actually go out when I was at Uni. I've probably got another year in me before I hang up my regular binge drinking boots. Unless I find a women to make an honest man out of me before then. Fat chance!

Reads like a Rite of Passage. I assume the long distance running is some sort of penance. :)

<laugh> Something like that! Nothing like a brisk 18 miles to run off last nights hangover.

At my age [56] I tend to go off on 10 mile rambles with [you guessed it] the Southampton Ramblers, and then we all end up in the pub to revive ourselves. It's a very nice way to spend the early afternoon into evening. :)

I've started cycling quite a lot lately. Find it a good way to work through stress.

Got Lumia 305 today. Seems OK, although obviously the old big sim cards don't fit, so as soon as my no. is swapped over I can start using it :emoticon-0110-tongu

I am waiting until they design a perfect one which will never need updating for a century at least.

At the rate that technology progresses, the moment a design is produced it effectively becomes obsolete.
